I grew up barely eating veggies-my mom is pickier than most kids! However, my oldest and his dad love veggies. So I have come a long way.

Fresh green beans steamed is awesome-tastes so much different than the canned "mush" you can buy!

Asparagus-I like it steamed, grilled, roasted...very yummy stuff but I cannot eat it raw like some people!

Never liked brussel sprouts-until I learned to cook them differently. Cut in half, boil for about 3 minutes, then using some olive oil and garlic, pan fry em til they get some browned edges. Very yummy!

And cauliflower roasted is absolutely wonderful stuff! both my kids eat it up like candy :) I cut up the cauliflower into bite sized pieces, put some garlic cloves in with it, douse it with some olive oil and curry powder-then spread out on a single layer in a pan and roast it until the edges start to get a little brown but not burnt! so so good! Kids ask for it quite a bit too :)

I can take it or leave it, I've eaten Indian and Tandoori on occasion with work lunches and stuff. I like the flavor of curry and could certainly stand to do some fiddling with it in the kitchen. This sounds like a good opportunity!

Oohh...and you can make a great easy curry using a heart healthy cream of celery soup as the base and build from there.

And here's another sweet chili sauce that is incredible. I'm not a fan because I don't do hot...but Wayne swears by this stuff.

You can mash it with potatoes for that extra veggie in your diet too-or even put mashed cauliflower in mac and cheese :)

Which reminds me-maybe one of those books marketed for parents about hiding veggies could help ya out if you really hate veggies? Just a thought :)

Interesting....so you like Franks better? I'll have to point that out to Wayne. Not that he needs any more hot sauce, but you never know

i like both, but franks a little better. now that daves gone i'll say i had bacon porkburgers smothered in grilled onions and franks sauce for supper

Hey all, hope everone has been doing well. Question for ya, I bought a VV Woodvil, just didn't get around to buying batts for it yet, or cartos, or atty's. I searched a bit and there isn't anything written in the "What you will need thread" for the VV Woodvil, I saw the review thread by Wayne, he recommended IMR 18350's, is that the general concensus? Can I use my Pila charger or do I need another type? Thanks in advance!

 Hi David! :D
Batteries... AW 18350 IMRs are what I'm using and they work very well. They are 3.7volt batteries so you can use them on your Pila without a problem. I guess the only thing you may need are spacers. ...but I'm not sure as I don't own a Pila. :?:

Atties....well, you know the drill. MX is using Cisco 2.5Ω and 3Ω atties both 510 and 306. I'm using an HH357 2.5Ω long barrel on mine.

Thanks Lisa, I wonder if this is what I need as a spacer for the Pila and AW18350's CR123 Dummy Charging Spacer
