I grew up barely eating veggies-my mom is pickier than most kids! However, my oldest and his dad love veggies. So I have come a long way.
Fresh green beans steamed is awesome-tastes so much different than the canned "mush" you can buy!
Asparagus-I like it steamed, grilled, roasted...very yummy stuff but I cannot eat it raw like some people!
Never liked brussel sprouts-until I learned to cook them differently. Cut in half, boil for about 3 minutes, then using some olive oil and garlic, pan fry em til they get some browned edges. Very yummy!
And cauliflower roasted is absolutely wonderful stuff! both my kids eat it up like candy
I cut up the cauliflower into bite sized pieces, put some garlic cloves in with it, douse it with some olive oil and curry powder-then spread out on a single layer in a pan and roast it until the edges start to get a little brown but not burnt! so so good! Kids ask for it quite a bit too
