REally Dan? Did you post pics? I'm very "visual" :D

I will post some pictures tonight. I got a big fat speaker wire and took off the shielding and wrapped it around the spring and then just kinda wedged it into the bottom spring. I will get on my phone and make a post before I go to bed. I had no idea you were visual. LOL I might have to make a video one day.

I'm doing alright, Darrel. How the heck are you? It sounds like your job has been treating you well from what I've seen recently. Glad to hear that, my friend.:)

doing well thanks been sick for a few days but like ya said the jobs good so i can take sick days and get paid now  You working ?
Yes and no. Was working until yesterday morning when 2 days of constant rain made the boss decide to shut us down for the rest of the week. It was time to do that, I was using the boom on my skidder to push me through the mud and barely making it. So.........taking it easy for a few days.
Hey, I saw that you and Gatlin were sick but forgot about it in my first post. Hope you and Gatlin are feeling better now.:)

you need some of these Roger supposedly we make the best skitter chains up here in canada all the swamp loggers use our chains Canadian Chains [Forestry]
Maybe the studded chains. The boss says he hates those chains with the rings in the center--they don't last. I've never used the ring chains, so I don't know. I wish the ground would dry up--last summer I took my chains off until well into winter and what a luxury that is! Not always having to keep an eye on the chains so you know they haven't broken and are wearing a groove in the axle.

Ya we do lots of chain repairs when it snows some of the plow drivers aren't very good at taking care of them. I guess I will find out how I am this coming winter now that i will be working hopefully :)
I'm sure you will be awesome, Darrel. You are a REOnaut--how could you be anything but awesome?:):)

Okay.......I can see that.
You do realize that you are representing the entire REO community when you venture out on the job, right?
I too have to take that into account when at work as a logger and try to kill every tree in sight so as to make my fellow REOnauts proud of me.
Its a hefty burden.:)
Edit: Just kidding of course. I thought at first that would be obvious, but then it occurred to me that some people do really believe that loggers have that kind of mindset. No, no, we actually try to be environmentally conscious while performing a harvest no different than any other agricultural entity. The next crop just takes a bit longer.

Heck, whether old growth is renewable is a moot point and long past being of interest down here. Ain't nothing but 2nd growth to log down here anymore--at least on this side of Washington.
