I'm so glad you got a job!!! I'm sorry the Chalice is vexing you. Wish I lived closer. We could have a party and roll some coils. :D
Thanks Val! Me too! It's been a long time coming. So glad I waited for this opportunity!
The Chalice is haunting me. I think I can I think I can I think I can.
I wished you lived closer too! We could have a bottle of wine and roll coils

Hang on a bit. I wind my coils on a needle they arent perfect but they work. i leave the coil and wick on the needle while threading the wire thru the studs it seems to keep it better lined up for me dunno if that maybe will help

OH and congratulations on the job are you happy with it ?
What are you using for the wick? My coils actually look pretty great. They just aren't performing for me. The needle is a good idea. I've tried a straightened out paper clip but I haven't used it to put the wires through the holes.

I'm sooooo happy with the job. It was quick. I interviewed Thursday and was told on Friday I got the job and I start Monday!
It was the connection I had with this recruiting company that helped me get the job. Global wide company, lots of applicants. I am so grateful for the recruiters who helped me out. I think I'll bake them cookies and send them a card.

Oh! Oh! I just thought of something Keeks. Do you have Grandma glasses? The magnifying reading glasses they sell at Wal-Mart and the Dollar Store? Makes it a heck of a lot easier to see what you're doing with those little pieces of wire. And makes it real easy to slide the wire in the posts too. Might help if you can see it up close and big. I have to wear mine when I'm making a coil. Just a thought. Might help. :)

Another late night in the portal....with a failed java app. :grr: I got a whole lotta nothing done.

Rough day. Had to take Zoomie to the hospital today. Turns out he has "disc disease" which is what we would consider herniated discs. He's got one bulging disc for sure, but it looks like there are makings of another one or two. :( Poor little guy is in an insane amount of pain. We've got him drugged and are monitoring him closely. Hopefully the inflamation will go down quickly and he can get back to near normal. But now we have to retrain him to not jump on or off the furniture. This is not going to just go away. So he's got a lifestyle change comin. I hate these lifestyle changes. I've gone through way too many of them in the last 3 years. I just want him to feel better.

Sorry he must go through this Lisa. It is difficult when they do not understand why the changes have to be made. Heck they don't know what is making them hurt. All he knows is he is in pain and you are making new rules.

Hopefully his new training will go well and it will be instrumental to getting rid of the inflammation.

It will be tough but you can do it for him!
