Running my life around TV schedules was never a thing. I ended up just watching David Letterman. It was the only thing in when I would finally sit down. Now I can watch anything anytime. On demands not bad either.

I used to tend bar in another life and when I got home the only thing that was on was infomercials that's how I got my first Tivo it was on a infomercials I was like OMG I need one of those where do I call? it was $600 and had a 14gig HDD
You are old school on the TiVo! I have had one for about 7 years. I knew friends that had them but I waited till the were on cable.

I liked tivo its was really to bad when they stopped working with the new tech of cable boxes. I still have one with a life time script that wont change the channel of the uverse box but it doesn't support HD anyway and recordings look like poo so I guess it doesn't matter. oh Tivo we had a good run
going to bed at 6 am it's the one thing I miss about working afternoons because wake up at 6 am is no fun! goodnight Reoville
