Oh Nnnooosss!!!

Doomsday has arrived! Whilst reaching through the pass-through between my TV room and the kitchen to put the cereal bowl in the sink, (yes, my culinary acumen is limited to cold cereal and anything that can be microwaved in four-minutes or less), my Provari slipped out of my hand and at terminal velocity slammed headfirst onto the floor.

Being constructed along the lines of a proverbial brick house the Provari suffered no damage but the same can not be said for my Trippy Tip Donut! It sheared off just above the o-rings suffering a fatal, Saddam Hussain type injury.

As if the demise of my highly elusive TT Donut were not enough anguish to deal with I must now make the difficult decision as to present a lady friend with a dozen roses when we go dancing tonight or redirect the funds to replace my beloved Donut.

Alas, it is an age old problem, a man forced to choose between two loves, (make that one love and one on the way to really liking.)

I must admit that the Trippy Tip's lack of 'snuggling' ability may influence my decision.

Jack

Jack not to worry Bert over at Trippy Tips can fix your donut like new again you can pm bert1983 or just go to trippytips.com I believe theres a section for repairs:D

Hi REOville

Went back into surgery to fix pins in my ankle so rehab will extend ne an additional 3 months before I can get home. I hate this place and miss you all. Special love to Delilah for all her love in my profile and not forgetting me and a special shout out to ol' Bill for the many cards he sent. Wish I could stay longer or be here more often but being in the wheelchair is still painful.....love you all!!
Sorry to hear your going in for more surgery but glad to hear from you my friend:)

Any Android users out there? I'm wanting a new phone. I gave up my iphone a couple of years ago when I was out of contract because I hated how much it cost every month. Went to a cheapo phone and pay as you go. I hate texting on this phone. Doesn't have a qwerty keyboard and is a total pain. I still miss having a smartphone and I was kind of hankering for an iphone5, and almost pulled the trigger, but it's that dang monthly cost again. I find it exorbitant personally.

Anyways, I ran across a Galaxy Sll that I can purchase outright for $349 and run it with unlimited talk, text and data for $45 month. No contract. I almost ran out of the store with it, but then I realized I don't know squat about the android system. Although people that have them seem to love them. Anyone use them and love them? Use them and hate them? Is this going to be a bad move for me since I'm more accustomed to an iphone? Or will I end up wondering why I didn't jump ship earlier?
I have the Galaxy SII and love it

Evening Reoville hope everyones doing well:)

I'm bumming my button on my VVG is flaking out its intermittently not firing. It started this afternoon I thought it was my atty but its doing it on everything I put on it even the inline volt meter. I don't want send it away I'll suffer separation anxiety maybe it will heal its self, now I'm kicking myself for not buying a spare:(

I feel your pain. I dropped my VVW, the button popped out and it hasn't been the same since. Have to mash it directly in the center, with a little lean on it. It would be real nice if they healed themselves!

I just wanted to post here as a thank you to Rob. A while back I had a bad atty melt my spring, bottom of my push button and corrode the top battery contact. I've been using my reo like that for a while now just dealing with the horrible connection, then I emailed Rob. My rebuild kit came in the mail today and after some light work I'm geeked to say she's firing like day 1 again! I mean hey.. she basically is brand new again right?

This is just a testament to the mechanical design and how durable (yet easily and cheaply repaired in extreme cases like mine) it is. Thank you Rob for the best PV I've owned.

I have a Motorola Droid 3. I love it. Mine has a slide out qwerty keyboard, but I find I don't use it. The virtual keyboard is fabulous. The screen size is good too. I don't have or have had an iphone...so I don't know how they compare. But there is a huge selection of aps out there if that's what you're into for both platforms. I'm not a big ap person. I tend to just use a few that are handy, but the rest seem like junk to me. I imagine I would find the same thing with the iphone aps too. I had a blackberry storm before this and it was slow. This thing is lightning quick. When I go to upgrade, I'll not get the slideout keyboard. And I'll get another android. :)

I guess my only concern if I were you is coverage. I need to be able to conduct business where ever I am, so it is very important that I have good coverage. If my internet fails, I use my phone as a wi-fi hotspot so I can keep working. It really is a fantastic system, as long as you have good cell range.

I see I missed the fun. :(

I was working on getting the shield painted up. Sadly, it took longer than I would have liked and I'm still not done. :( But what I've done so far looks sharp. :)

Geez, Gill  I'm so sorry to hear you're still in there. Wayne was just asking about you the other day....getting worried. Someone please PM me his addy. I've misplaced it.
