That's a nice fridge, I've always had a soft spot for bottom freezers. My grandma had one when I was little and it was perfectly situated for small children to get popsicles out of.

Thanks Dave, this is the first time we've been able to keep much ice-cream :D always needed the space for the boring stuff!

Been here a couple of years now (that's gone quick!) We sold the old house because it was too big with the two boys gone and now with David moving back in, this house feels too small lol Got the floor tiled and bought the fridge so the house is gradually getting updated a bit View attachment 141490 View attachment 141491

I want to slide across that floor in my socks.....

Buying houses is always stressful I think. On two different occasions we sold houses where the buyer walked in within two hours of them being advertised and paid our asking prices and even that was stressful as we then wondered if we hadn't asked enough! You must have a really good knowledge of house prices by now so luckily you won't be worried about overpaying either.
Ya...it's handy for us because we're very close to all the industry professionals from lenders, brokers, title companies, etc. So we've got a lot of great contacts. Plus, with our construction backgrounds, we both know how to handle site work, subcontractors, permits and what not. Lots of work, but worth it.
That doesn't mean we're not stressing!

Oh yea....Hi Everybody!!!

I'm not ashamed to say that at one point, I had this entire video on VHS. Her technique may leave much to be desired, but you have to admire her tenacity and persistence.

How ya been, Odell? Long time!

Exciting too! When are you planning on starting with it all?

Hi Rich! How are you and Pixie doing?

Sorry it took a bit to get back to you. We are good here, still working on getting our van in tip top shape for the upcoming inspection... The salt they put down here eats the cars alive, so we have this gaping hole down the bottom side that used to be our rocker panels. Just gonna blow it out, fill it with spray foam, seal with undercoating, and call it done for the Winter. No point really in fixing it as it would look the same after the winter, we will get it done nicely in May when it stops snowing. Did you try the ceramic drip tips? If you did, did you like them? She is still loving her purple Mini and the tips you sent her!

Not sure....should have this all in full swing over the next 4 weeks. Going through a ton of paperwork and lining up financing. My guess is this is probably going to be the hardest part. It's maddening....having to pull teeth to get a simple answer and then someone who wants to work through it all. Lenders are sales people, but I think sometimes they forget that. :glare: If I'm not impressed by their answers or the proper problem solving skills, then I'm moving on to the next person.

I'll be sending you lots of good vibes so it all goes smooth as silk and exactly as you and Wayne want it to be. Good luck with it all.
