She has an excellent surgeon. He does this everyday. Should be no problems. She will be in a neck brace for 2 weekend. Bone Stimulator for 3 months.

If she happens to have Dr. Haynes...
Either way, I'm glad she likes her surgeon and hope that recovery goes by quickly!

REOmizer and fix'ns were sent out from Maine Monday and is at PO, today Wed!!!!!!! It won't make it to UPS store til this afternoon so may wait til Friday to pick up. YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks guys. I think we are going to be okay. She is telling me jokes. Plus her iv is in and was easy.

The IV is the part that I hate the most. From what I hear, a lot of people feel the same way. It hurts when they go digging and hunting.

Good morning Reonuts. Dan, my best to Mrs. Dan with her surgery. Always remember one thing about IV's... that momentary pin ..... is quickly replaced with some really neat happy juice. Makes it all worthwhile.

Happy day before Thanksgiving everyone. Huge party at the club tonight, up to 3 hour wait if you don't get there early. Even though I still can't breathe through my nose I'm gonna dance 'til I pass out and they come get me with the Flight for Life. (Already have 2 dozen roses ordered for the ladies.

Sashie I hope you start feeling better by tomorrow, this thing really starts to hang on for awhile. The one thing I found that made me feel better during the day is Thera-Flu. It's a powder that you mix up in a cup of hot water, (tastes like lemon) and really helps with the congestion. If that doesn't make you feel better scotch will make it so you don't care. (Get better soon.)

She had Dr.Randall. His is very good. He does this all day. She should go into surgery in about 30 min. In recovery 2 hours later for an hour more. Then a room.

So I drug my sorry .... to the grocery store to pick up the stuff I need for the potluck at work tomorrow. I was really dragging my feet and dreading it, because typically around here the day before T day is a mad house in the stores and I usually have to hit 2 or 3 to find some items due to sell outs. It wasn't like that though today. Very few people in the store, shelves stocked to the rafters, and cashiers just waiting at empty check outs for someone to come up with their stuff. The lack of people shopping was really almost creepy. At least I got in and out in under 10 minutes with my fixins for ramen slaw in hand.

So glad to hear this. I like this kind of "creepy"!!!! I like stopping at Home Depot and Target on way home from airport just as they are opening. All kinds of people to ask questions of. (This new HD has bathrooms up front, they are very clean, and great pit-stop on way home after big coffee in car.) Leaving in a bit for several stops and into Dallas for booze. Hoping to have all kinds of "creepy." And wishing creepy on all who want it.

Dan, you and the Mrs are very much in my thought. Take care all you suffering from "hoople love."

My AC is running and it's sunny outside with little wind. Love late fall in Texas!!!

I've been sleeping in DH's recliner that is only four feet from my place (but surrounded by wood "fence to keep them from stealing DH's stuff.) Just sat down for a quick rest in my place and instantly surrounded by all Bubs wanting to be touching me. They miss me and I've been here. Gotta love furry love.

Maybe the stores got their ordering figured out so they didn't run out of stuff too.

I couldn't go shopping for the guys here till today. We hit the store around 8:30. Most things were stocked. But there were only a couple tubs of Smart Balance margarine and two off brand tubs. I only buy butter for me but had to pick up something for the guys. There was a couple standing there for about 5 minutes mulling over something.

Got to the checkouts and they really needed more open. And also more baggers!

Glad we went early. I have a feeling they will be hit hard all day today.
