It doesn't even matter what causes the situation. Do those people on camera even have an inkling of how childish they look? I would never want my daughter to see me act like that. Heading north this morning, the freeways and streets were clear...hardly any cars out, but the parking lot at the mall was packed...even saw extra security there.

I have no idea what gets into people on Black Friday.
I can only guess the adrenaline jumps in but I would never do anything like that.

Some of those people are all taking things from other people and none to gently either.

If I saw someone I knew that did that I would be embarrassed. If I actually did it, I'd feel like hiding in shame!

Being Black Friday, (it's in all the newspapers in case you've never heard of it), I have called upon my limitless generosity and decided to give all my Reonut friends an early Christmas present. Yes, yes, I know, you're struck speechless with appreciation.

For those of you who have several ERA's (may work with the Reomizer/Reatty. I don't know, I don't have one), but wish upon a star that it would fit you're Mini without an adapter and dread the thought of the wait, and the expense of a Hornet, well quit rubbing your brass lamp hoping for a Genie... your wish as already been answered.

During one of my frequent bored spells I decided to play around to see what I could destroy. The bad news is I failed at my attempt to break anything. The good news is I now have one of my ERA's proudly pumping vapor from atop my Mini sans an adapter. (Please, please, hold down the applause, I have a slight headache.)

As ERA owners already know, the threaded connection on the ERA is adjustable but until this groundbreaking discovery most of us have only been concerned with adjusting it 'inward' to avoid dreaded shorts. Obviously it takes a very old and feeble yet highly trained investigator to think outside of the box, (I hate that phrase but I couldn't think of anything else), and realize that if it adjusted 'in', why wouldn't it adjust 'out'. It does. WOOT, WOOT! Now that one I like. It's fun to say... and type.)

Simply remove the existing wick/coil from an ERA and screw out the threaded post. (Remove the wick/coil because the interior positive post will turn and break your lead wires.)

Adjust the post outward in small increments until you feel it make contact in the Mini juice well. When you think contact is sufficient, but not too tight, take a short strand of wire and run it through the positive and negative posts and press the firing button to make sure it is making contact. (I put a couple drops of liquid on the wire so I could more easily see vapor since I'm as blind as Mr. Magoo.)

After verifying contact and good firing I simply wrapped a coil around a threaded screw, installed it then inserted a cheesecloth wick. Tested it again then removed it checked it on an ohm meter. Dead on at 2.6 ohms. (I'm gettin' pretty good at hittin' them right on. I run my Mini with those little Timothy seed sized batteries for 6 volts., gives a nice kick. Took me 2 full days to explain to Pietro how to do it and what charger to use for the batteries. He's a slow learner... as most flatlanders are.)

I even managed to snap a couple of pictures. Here's proof for you skeptics.

Can't tell you how long it's going to last but I've been vaping on it for the last hour or so and it hasn't exploded in my face yet and I feel so confident in the society changing discovery that I'm taking it dancing to night. I hope it doesn't want to lead.

The part of Canada that doesn't get enuf Snow :(
its ok, i've dealt with worse in my life. but i'm ready for him to go again

I can imagine. I spent a few years sharing with my mother. Started when she and I needed a financial boost so it worked for a few years but it was good to move on. I think she still finds house kinda quiet and misses the noise sometimes.

Afternoon all.Just stopping by for a quick hello. Beef stew in the crockpot for dinner and I'm going to whip up a batch of cornbread to go with it. Cold day here and it sounded like a good idea. :)
I love me some cornbread:p

Jack

Now let me clear this up for you This topic was already addressed in the FB ERA thread there is people already using the ERA on the Mini by unscrewing the center post (don't mean to take your thunder Jack:evil:) but having the center post screwed out that far is not safe and as old as you are you need to be VERY careful:ohmy::p
