Happy Sunday, Reoville! Wish I didn't keep these vampire hours, shoving off to bed when the rest of world's waking up -- I'd chat more with my fellow squonkers. Makes me feel a bit creepy reading about you all while you're fast asleep

(never been on any forum/message board before, but guess that's par for the course). I do want to wish all my best to those of you digging out after the Big Snowfall. I haven't seen a snowflake since college, 10 years ago, and miss it so. Spent those 4 years right in the middle of Iowa, Grinnell, and totally adored the snow. The buggy summers were loads tougher to takes than the coldest of winters. Hope my nostalgic snow-love's not obnoxious as all get out to those of you up to your ears in it

! For any of you fellow dog fanatics, the Westminster Dog Show's on tomorrow. Although I volunteer with rescue dog adoption, all the dog shows are just about my only must-see tv. I got to meet 2004's Newfoundland winner, Josh, and it was like meeting a movie star

! Well, time to hit the hay. But here's some of Josh, in all his furry glory, for any pup-nut squonkers out there:
(really is worth a gander. WOOOF!

)
