Man Id love to get to a Vapemeet. Especially one of those huge VapeFest ones! I'd get one of every menthol in the joint then have a blast comparing all of them. Be nice to meet some vape Folks also.

I'm not one of them, but there are many vapers out there who still carry the social 'shame' of smoking and do their vaping on the sly. Many of them have never met another vaper in person. For folks like that a vape meet can be an earthshaker - here's a whole room full of people vaping openly in an establishment that has no problem with that whatsoever! It can be an incredibly freeing experience. I love watching new attendees being all reserved and timid coming in, but leaving relaxed and open and, dare I say it, proud of their status as a vaper.

Plus, you know, vendor access and all kinds of trading and sampling and showing off of gear and camaraderie. Local vape meets are awesome. I can't wait to attend a national one someday!

Our local weathermen just punked us again...after repeatedly jumping up and down on TV for the 2nd time in a week screaming about the oncoming Snowpocalypse, our yards have a light dusting of white and our roads are just a bit damp...not even frozen over. Complete ratings whores..."When will the snow and ice bury us? Stay tuned to this channel!"

If a real storm buries us before spring, there's probably going to be a lot of people stranded on the roads, and the authorities will wonder why...

Sorry about the venting. I'm happy my work flow for the week isn't going to be interrupted, and grateful I'm not snowed in. Still going to eat the roast I prepared for today, anyway. Have a good morning, Reoville!

It's crazy outside, the snow started again last night and the news is saying the highways are pretty empty thank dog, lots of people are staying home. This is what I am seeing out my front door this morning. Good thing my power lines are underground, lots of people without power this morning, the snow is very wet and sticking to everything. It's crazy outside, the snow started again last night and the news is saying the highways are pretty empty thank dog, lots of people are staying home. Oh wow! We have fortunately missed the snow this year and I hope we make it to warm weather without any. Just a couple of light dustings this winter, nothing major.

I have cash in case someone comes by, the guy I am going to ask called yesterday and left me a message cancelling our appt for this evening, but I think he will call back today to re-schedule so I can ask him when he calls. If all else fails, I'll have my ex come and drive his 4x up and down the drive again. He never shovels, but at least I was able to get out after he did that. Thanks for thinking of me, I'll be fine.

Unfortunately, we schedule the meets 6 months at a time so we can lock down the reservations on the brewhouse, otherwise I'd just reschedule one around your visits!

At least you can take comfort in the fact that when you do come visit us, you won't have to see any snow. We had a layer of graupel (we get weirdly-named weather here, haboobs (sand storms) and graupel (soft hail)) last week, that's the last time we'll see white for another 10 years.

Hope everyone that was/is hit by that latest storm is safe and warm - especially if they are power-less! Must be the same storm path that is hitting the eastern provinces of Canada, I assume.

I'd love to hear what you picked up for a camper. I'm an avid camper for many years. Right now I have a '09 Casita Spirit but am soon upgrading to a late model Keystone Bullet Premiere. Post pics if you have them.
