Nah, The city is crazy expensive.
Your gas prices are not that much more than here in the Bay Area. Depending on where I get gas when I need it it varies from almost $4 to $4 plus change.

As for the charger and the power going out, we have a generator but haven't used it in a while. I think DH needs a part or something. We get power outages from the lighting occasionally. And if it is hot, I just hop in the car and go somewhere else. I can then use my charger, though I think I have enough batteries that it won't be needed. Just in case though, it's nice as a backup.
Tonight I took the leftovers from the corned beef (which got ate up) and cabbage/potatoes/onion/carrots (which didn't) and put polish sausage in it. DH ate it up and liked it. And yet, there is STILL some left over. Most likely it will become soup with the help of some kitchen shears and chicken broth.
I just learned what Loco Moco was last night! I was watching a show on the restaurant Ola somewhere in Hawaii. Which reminds me, HEY NUTZ! We had some Maui brewery beer when we went to Riverside. There was a little bar next to the coffee house and they had it. We always like trying new brews, and so had some. I thought of you NUTZ!!! It was good stuff.

Oklahoma City. I am already typing it the lazy way. The tax gawds did not shine on me this year at all... what is the point of claiming single and 0 if you still have to pay? Teacher's shouldn't have to pay taxes... lol When I told my aide what my take home was she gasped it was over a grand less than she assumed.
I was even still in college working on my last degree and have to pay... really? *grumble* Okay done now...

My cookie of choice is whatever you are baking! I am simple, it doesn't have to be fancy
Hehe....fer me as long as it has some alcohol it taste great. Nut a connoisseur of beer by no means. LOL, at parties I drink all the different brands of beer except what I like most because at the end I'll still be having my favorite(s).
Peanut Butter cookies... My Nanna always made them for me. That was "my special" cookie from her. Also "pie crust" cookies, leftover crust sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar. I did not have a pb cookie for 8 years after she passed. I would love a pb cookie.
