I have made it two whole days without a VV REO! Now I go back to work WITHOUT a VV REO!

I am taking 2 Grands, a Mini, and a Mini 2.0. That is the usual number I take. I drive with 2 Grands to vape. My Mini stays in my purse when I go out. The Mini 2.0 will take the place of my VV Grand that will stay at work. I like two by my computer when there.

I am psyched to get mine back from Robert with the new button/switch. Maybe by this coming weekend. They should be delivered to him tomorrow.

Good Morning Becky! Have a lovely day! Oh and you might want to try an IV with straight 100% Colombian. Thats what I do.

Guzzle some coffee, Reonauts, and have a really pleasant morning!

Good morning Reo peeps. Today i receive my first Reo(depending on uSPs of course) and i am very excited. More excited then any device or tank I've ever bought regardless of price.
Enjoy your day!

GOOD MORNING REOvillians!

I sure hope today is your "Happy REO day!!"

How exciting! Just remember to come here and ask questions. Don't be like me and freak out over stupid things before you check here. I got mine and was almost in tears because it wouldn't work. Turns out there is an on/off switch on a Grand

I'm gonna need a backup girlfriend then because she's gonna leave me if i keep it up.)

Hmm, I don't like the sound of that. Dump her, not the REO's. She should be embracing the fact that instead of literally going up in smoke, your money is "invested" in something that will last a long time and if times get rough, will hold its value. Unlike cigarettes.

Good Day Fine REO Folk. Hope all well or improving. Very busy but gratifying week behind me. Many more to follow untill I send Sissy Dog off to Memphis and Nashville for a few days Wed or there abouts. Still way too much to do but I'll be able to sneak in more "sit a spells" to rest my knees a bit. Past week first time my knees have ached in months. Bending and squatting and hundreds of trips up and down stairs almost around the clock for a week takes a toll. Actually slept 5 hours last night. My knees are very grateful.

Did slow cooker pork ribs all day yesterday. SD and I went to Rehab center to visit our mutual friend who originally hooked us up years ago so ribs slow cooked 5 hours longer than needed as we were gone so long. Needless to say it was pretty difficult transferring them to trays for final flash broil to carmelize sauce. Lost most of the rib bones out transferring them. They were out of this world, btw. Next time I'll use baby back ribs as recipe calls for. I did 12 lbs for the 3 of us so lots of left overs but since I want to do a rotisserie pork loin (my new super "toaster oven" in storage and still in original box for over a year) I may do the left over ribs into a super stew. The Bubs would rather I give ribs to them of course. Would't be the first time they got $20 doggie treats in one pop. (Moe Doodle can levitate to get to anything on counter or in deep sink no matter precautions taken to protect food or even flatware, cooking utensils, knives..... anything that has a hint of food aroma.) Did roasted new potatoes and leeks. DH suggested I give myself a little break and do a drive through cole slaw on way home. Glad I did. Started preparing food at 0700, up all day, sat only in car going to visit friend, visiting friend, and a few minutes dining.... walked out of kitchen at midnight and didn't even make it through an hour of TV before passing out and didn't even get a chance to take any sleep aides! Shocking for me as it usually takes hours to go to sleep using sleeps aids. And did I say my knees feel better this morning than they have in days!!!???

Missed going to church with SD as I thought she said we had to leave here at 1000. At 0930, when she came down to leave I was elbow deep in last stages of ribs frantically getting them arranged in cookers and evenly coated. Church started at 1000 so not enough time for me to get ready. Found out the weekly lunch after is all home cooked pot luck like days of old. Bummer to have missed that!!!

We may go to farm today depending on her dental appt. She's on back up list for cancellations. She had crown work done Thursday but this is for yearly checkup, x-rays, cleaning.

First thing our friend Theodora asked her, after close scrutiny of SD's face was what "work" she had done on face since she saw her last year. Needless to say I always trim my nose hairs before visiting Teddie. (SD does get eyebrow and lashes tattoos, which has to be redone when it fades, and botox, and lip plumping. My DH is fine with naturally big lips but hates most fake ones. SD does over do it for my taste, too. Teddie always has emaculate nails and does eyebrow tatooing and dressed perfectly coordinated down to her gem in her toe ring but she can't afford the other stuff nor does she need it at 71. My only cosmetic enhancements are face cream, deoderant, clean body and hair, trimmed toe nails, clean finger nails, and trimmed old lady beard, moustash, and nose hairs. Well..... clean ears, too. And when time allowed feet callouses chain sawed off.

Tripp, tell Val I do wear a bra to Walmart.:D

May try to get down to Mexico for a few days if Greyhound will accept a Doctor's note from DH for medical leave so she ca extend her stay some to Bub sit. And if DH doesn't throw too big a hissy fit about me spending the money. I'll have to pay SD but she'll continue to work on house.

All are in my most positive thoughts.

Love and hugs, Feisty Alice

Mornin REOville! Woke up late, stupid daylight savings time, and I know this week will be late mornings all week. Since Phoenix doesn't do stupid daylight savings time (smarties!) I was 2 hours behind most of last week so this week will be bad. BUT... I wouldn't give up last week for anything! Hope all have a good Monday, well, as good as it can be. I need to get on my work computer and see how it went last week and if there is anything I need to get to first. Have a good day!

Good morning, REOvil! Still have tons to catch up on. Took Mom to the emergency room yesterday...third day of high blood pressure spikes, and she was wobbling around like she was drunk. Resting and taking pills now. Sister with her recurring ear infection, needs prescriptions picked up. Dog needs to go to vet, coughing and puking up blood. (not my dogs!) Have to swing by the post office too. Finally got a tarp to put over the leaking trailer and it looks like rain today.

CALGON!

Have a great day everyone! If I'm scarce, it's just because I'm busy. Darn family. :)

Oh yeah.... a major positive to report. ... Most of my adult life I've worn size 6, 7, 8, jeans. When I was put on anti seizure meds several years ago not only did my IQ drop by ~ 50 points (those meds have serious side affects including dumbing you down - virtually impossible to do well in higher education studies) but I abrupty gained 40 lbs. So I've been off them for over a year. I've refused to buy any jeans till I could get back down to a 10. (Old ladies' bodies change so I'll never be a 6 again. So for our Sat night out at The Oasis I decided I had to wesr jeans. Levis from Costco. I held them up to me and was afraid to get 12 so got 14. They have a tummy control but are so loose they slip down my hips to the floor. Time was short. My washer has a sanizing cycle that heats water to almost boiling. Three washes with EXTREMELY hot water with hottest dryer after each wash..... They still slide down my hips. Picking up size 12 today. I'VE ONLY LOST 12 LBS!!!!!!!! 30 more to go.

I modeled in late 60' early 70's. That was Twiggy days. At 5' 8" I weighed in at 110 lbs of all muscle; nearly 0 body fat. Size 4 on bottom but 10 shoulders. I had to go on muscle wasting diet to reduce 2" off my calves. Major athlete but muscles were't in like they are today.

So ladies (and gents) until a few months ago I was way too sedentary from neck/back/head, FM, and depression and meds (I'm totally off of now), I've only lost 16 lbs total and due to non extreme exercise I've dropped from a 16 to a 12. (I don't consider walking 2-5 miles, at a leisurely pace, stopping frequently to chat wit neighbors and their dog, a few days a week, even approaching "extreme."

Hugs and love, Feisty Alice

Congrats on the weight loss! I can relate to what you are saying... I started using the food diary again. I do okay most days, but sometimes I just gotta say life isn't worth living if I can't indulge. I drank wine last night and it ruined my diary, but made my day

Don't you just love it when you can actually tell by your clothes you have lost weight?

Oh for sure!!!!! Last week I tried on a pair of DH's size 38 L jeans and I was swimming in them. Last time I tried them on, months ago, they were snug around waist (actually below waist and top of hip bones) and just below but pretty billowing on down. My 40 front clasps cotton sports bras are all of a sudden jumping up over my boobs if I move wrong and my tummy "litter" is now only barely showing as a single first trimester.

DH HATES fat!!!!!!!! When my "litter" reduced significantly' a couple months ago he couldn't keep his hand off me.

I think a lot of people do better, when on restricted eating, with a few shocks to system, every once in a while, as long as it isn't medically harmful.

Also moderation rather drastic restriction is better for the psychy.

Like you, Alice, I'm not happy with how slow it comes off - but I do take comfort in the fact that I'm not putting it on any more. I may not be losing as quick as I'd like, but I'm not gaining at a great pace.

Hang in there!
