Good Morning Reopeeps,

Cappy just called me...he hadn't slept all night as he had to take his sis to emergency last night..now she has cancer in her liver..

I don't know how he's holding up so well...she was scheduled to start chemo next week on her brain......this is breaking my heart for the both of them.
He had to cancel all the appointments he had for this week to show houses, so no income coming in. He said that her Dr. sounded optimistic but that he always does, but he thinks there's something the Dr.'s not telling him. I wish with all my heart i could go there
and be there for him to do whatever was needed to help him thru this.
Everyones prayers, good vibes, and healing vibes seem to work pretty good for so many of us,please give him a boatload of them.

edit: He also told me that he collapsed a spring on his Woodvil! He was using an HH357, 2.whatever. He didn't know that it had to be lower ohms. And on his vv wood, the 510 connection keeps getting loose!

If it was me, I'd be freakin' out with all this bad stuff!

OMG, Ray and sis must be devastated Kay, please pass along my utmost best wishes for the two. There is a doc in I believe Texas who has his own cancer clinic that uses alternative means of treatments. Believe that his cure rate for peeps who had stage 4 cancer was over 75%. For the life of me can't remember his name (think Hungarian ancestry). Government (FDA) and big pharma tried shutting down his clinic but were unsuccessful in several attempts. These two are really one and the same and does everything they can to protect profits. Some of you Texans might know of him since it was big news there. Treatments are done only there so travel would be necessary. Gonna try and find his site and video. I encourage all to send prayers and good vibes to a man fighting to help his family...down on my hands and knees begging you.

OK. I wasn't going to post this here but this is the tip I got Sunday night. I wub it. More so because I never get my first choice in any sale and just got lucky this time. This is my "gotta have surgery so I need something to make me smile present."

Not that fierce twin bonding you always hear about?! Well, maybe that whole grass is always greener thing really is true, after all. I've got that same independent streak; that's why this temporary stay back at the 'rent house is driving me especially batty. Or, er, battier. I'm on new meds for both the RA and the colitis, so hopefully it'll be back on my own soon. Adults are SOOO not meant to live with their parents!

I finally caught up in the forum. 4 pages of threads is no small feat. Now I wonder how long it will take me to get caught up in here? Good grief Oh well, off to best buy again...bought a new computer for Wayne yesterday and the mouse isn't working. Then come back home, finish setting him up, research some online backup systems for each of our needs and then I need to get together with the radio station and the newspaper to finalize contracts for an upcoming event. Distribution starts tomorrow. *sigh* Good times. Seriously...need to do something about winning the lottery. This simple living is for the birds.

Not yet. Doc wants to check out all my womanly parts and make sure I am healthy in every other way. Next appointment not until April 11th. He said we would schedule the MRI and x-rays then. So I'm thinking it might be May. Which works great for me...get to enjoy a little bit of Spring and will recuperate right underneath my air conditioner during the hot months that I like to hibernate through anyway.

Well hell then, you'll just have to watch DW twice!......and wait for the cookies

I was in Phoenix twice in the past 2 years, and the construction in that place isn't exactly dying down either. And the traffic! How you can stand the traffic is beyond me. I am 65 miles out of LA now, in an uglier desert than the Sonoran but blessed with no traffic or construction. How that many people can choose to live in one area is beyond my ken.

Remember when Phoenix and Tucson were separated by lots of the 10? Last time I was there it seemed like they were ready to annex one another. Damn Devils keep coming south to heaven. I guess I can't blame them though.

My Mom died from cancer when she was only in her late thirties, but of course back then, little was known about the treatment of cancer.
My poor Dad was left with seven kids to try to raise.

So what's the sibling run-down, Kay? Probably you all on this thread already know such things about each other, but I've yet to go WAY back and read up like I should. I've just got one sister, nearly 11 years older than I am (and WAY reminiscent of Jen's sis), so I've always envied folks with a bunch of siblings. I'd bet you bonded even more than you might have having to go through that together.

My little sister is only nine months younger than me. She will always be my baby sister though. She was born with Treacher Collins Syndrome and will always have some childlike qualities. I do not envy folks with a bunch of siblings, one is plenty!
