You can cause a short and break the spring right? Knowing me I will surely do this so I should pick up some IMMEDIATELY~
I have never had this happen to me, but I am experienced with gennies so the A7 wasn't a big stretch for me, and with the fiber wick rather than the mesh it was even easier. I didn't even put my short stop on until last night, and never had a problem.

But you are RIGHT, it absolutely could happen. Isn't yours a VV though so it has protection? Mine is fully mechanical.

Nope just a grand. No VV. If it happens I'll learn is all but I'll be ....... I have a feeling my provari became a backup and my mvp became a backups backup.
2 new pipe mods coming equal mod overload :p

Just make sure you meter your set up before you put it on the REO. I use my Provari or Vamo for that. Once I test mine and it is in use, the fiber wick needs replacing before the coil self destructs so I haven't had a problem. If my coil looks like it needs replacing, it is almost easier to just recoil rather than slide a new wick in (which is the opposite of my gennies with the mesh - it is the coil blowing that puts a stop to a set up) but I still test everything before it goes on the REO even if only rewicking.

Blessings on you, Ray!

I work in Hospice and this is one of our most beloved poems.
I hope it brings you some comfort.
Please know that you are cared for and are important to many many people...

Gone From My Sight

I am standing upon the seashore. A ship, at my side,
spreads her white sails to the moving breeze and starts
for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength.
I stand and watch her until, at length, she hangs like a speck
of white cloud just where the sea and sky come to mingle with each other.

Then, someone at my side says, "There, she is gone."

Gone where?

Gone from my sight. That is all. She is just as large in mast,
hull and spar as she was when she left my side.
And, she is just as able to bear her load of living freight to her destined port.

Her diminished size is in me -- not in her.

And, just at the moment when someone says, "There, she is gone,"
there are other eyes watching her coming, and other voices
ready to take up the glad shout, "Here she comes!"

Definitely check on the provari first.. I learned the hard way with an aga and a silver bullet before so I check everything now. Prolly invest in a meter on Saturday.
I HATE MESH. It's my reasoning for dropping out of RBA's for so long.. I could never ever get a proper mesh wick right.
Aight nap time :p I take a nap everyday since I'm 18. It's just a part of my day and I'm ultra cranky without one. Even just 15 minutes is enough just need a little quiet time.

I just finished the last of my roasted cabbage and ate some of my cooked carrots.

For the guys I fixed:
Homemade meatloaf
Sweet potato cassarole
Mixed greens
Candied carrot slices

I can't wait to go home and fix "MY" food!

May I come over for some of that meatloaf? I'm starved

That's what I thought when I fixed their plates! Dang that looked like a good meal!

I bet your starved, tired, and sore. If I could I would bake you a meatloaf! Hope you can get some good food in you!

So sorry to hear about Carol. My wife lost her mother to metastasized cancer about a year and half ago. I know the despair and pain you are feeling, or at least something very close to it. You are doing the right thing, helping her to make the most of the time she has left. Strengthening thoughts and prayers your way Ray, for you and Carol and your whole circle of family and friends.
