Yeah, I played with the switch to see which was what, but just leave them on with the battery in them. They won't fire without contact, and contact is the side button which is nice and safe as they are posing on the mantel right now. They occasionally turn to catch the light, and they know they are pretty. I would say they are pretty stuck up, they only want to hang out with the Caravella or other REO's. They tolerated the ProVari for a few minutes, and were cordial, but wouldn't even speak to the Vamo or the Zmax. I think they may be prejudice against chinese, which is a shame since they will be getting some A7's. Maybe it is just the PV's they don't like? I think they like the vela cuz it is a '350 and smaller than they are which fascinates them. Apparently they know quality, and the snobbiness must come from only being with other REO's for so long. They are seeing the world and meeting new friends, but I think I should do this slowly as they have led a sheltered life.

And DH will claim one of these over my dead body. He uses a cartotank on a Zmax and is perfectly happy with it. He got his very own tank from IBTanked as OCD was at the vapemeet we went to in Riverside and it was a gift. He is very happy with his first piece of vapegear all his very own and OCD taught him how to fill it himself. He still manages to hand the Zmax to me occasionally asking what is wrong, and I find he has managed to turn it up to 10 watts, so I bring it back down for him. I wouldn't trust him with my woodvils on his own. Nope, I hover and he may take a few hits, but until he masters a metal one he may NOT use my wood mechanicals by himself. I might end up with either a blown atty or a charcoal REO. In fact, the more I think about it, the more I think he will only use the Grand with the kick... maybe.

Wait till you wax them. You will really "bond"!

GOOD MORNING REOVILLIANS!

There is no such thing as BBQ rare or well done. BBQ is low and slow, takes hours and hours, and the meat will be cooked through. You do not order BBQ how you like it? Even a damn yankee should have the rudimentary knowledge of what BBQ is. You probably wouldn't have to tell a southerner though, they understand the concept of BBQ.

When you GRILL meat it is not BBQ, and is done over a high heat for a short period of time. You would then tell whoever is grilling your meat how you want it cooked, for example, well done or medium rare. Hamburgers, nasty tube meat and steaks etc are grilled and not BBQ'd. So most people who have "BBQ's" are really just grilling.

Here here!!! Agree!!!! It's a definite YEA here. But I am guilty of liking red beans in my chili so DH gets me a can of red beans to add to my served up bowl. DH bred n born in central TX. UT, Southwestern Medical School, Baylor.

I'll also fess up that my favorite chili flavored dish is what I grew up on in KY and what was called chili; more soupy, milder, red beans and spaghetti. There's always been question of whether KY is really a southern state but it is south of the Mason Dixon line and settled by people crossing the mountain passes from Virginia (and Carolinas after the Virginians tamed it a bit). Daniel Boone's brother founded my hometown with a small settlement outside existing town; Squire Boone Station.

During civil war local towns people sucessfully protected the Southern Army munitions stored in Basement of Courthouse, from Union Army.

Good day Fine REO Folk. Up and about as of noon but only doing very light paper work. But better skedadle before Sissy Dog catches me playing. I definitely did tear my left rotator tendon more. Damn.... I don't know if I can deal with six months, 3 x week PT.

Ray, Carol, and family... yous guys have a blast. Beaming you buschels of love and joy.

Keep your loved ones close in heart and mind.

Hugs and love, Feisty Alice

You're not alone, I'm a born n' bred Texan, but I've always taken my beef well done. I've taken my fair ration of crap for it, too.

Well you guys are talking about what we in Texas call "Grill'in" BBQ is slow cooked for long periods of time under low heat. The beef briskit I had today was very much done and melts in your mouth. The beans and potato salad were amazing, and don't get me started on the peach cobbler.

I cook steak on the grill high heat for around 5 min. I like it pink in the middle, those that don't, either haven't had it the other way or can't get over the blood. It's much juicer, tender, and tastier that way. If it's over done might as well have a hamburger and a bottle of ketchup.

I will do that for people who need a bit more fiber in their diet and enjoy it that way. But I will NOT pollute my lovingly made chili with beans. I do use whatever meat is on sale for red chili con carne (chuck or even tritip or steak if it is on sale) and I have been known to actually heat the beans up in a separate pot with the red chili and serve it over fritos and topped with cheese (they called it Texas Hats and it was a vegetarian meal in my 7th Day Adventist High School over 30 years ago). If it is the green chili I will make the chili and then add braised pork shoulder to it (after I have defatted and shredded it of course). Good chili is an art I tell ya! Oh, and Safeway brand salsa verde is pretty damn good if you are in a pinch for time. I regret to say this, but I even fooled an honest to God Hispanic person with my "chili verde" made by Safeway

There isn't much on the planet I enjoy more than a hamburger - well done, natch - with a bottle of ketchup.

You and Jack enjoy that shoe leather. Heathens. :D

ETA: If we ever get together, you, Jack and DH can go sit on the group W bench with your shoe leather and ketchup. You people from Phoenix never had it good. And poor Jack just doesn't know any better ;)

I love my burgers as well. But I would rather have them fried than grilled. You need to come down here and go to Mom's Diner. They know what's up. We got a 5 guys here, but Mom's puts them to shame.

And, for the record, some of the best people I ever knew came from the Group W bench. :D
