Wanted to say Good afternoon to all my Reo Friends. And Kay where abouts downstate are you looking? You may be closer to me???? Still have not tried out my new VV Reo. Maybe today????? Just put in an order for some new juice so may wait until I get it so I can vape double fisted. Reo Grand in one hand VV Red Grand in other! LOL
Had to go back and catch up on posts on here. Saw the post Rob had 25 rba's available. Jumped onto his site did not see them listed and then thought I missed the boat! UNTIL I returned to the forums to find out the truth! When will I ever learn????? LOL

Good morning, everyone :)

Thank you for your restraint. I know it's not easy seeing someone take pot shots at someone whom you may admire. But in the long run, we all know you can't please everyone all of the time, so there's no need to jump into the fray. I'm sure what you're seeing is someone who has come by and found the one of what....5 threads out of nearly 3000 threads where someone wasn't happy with the device or Rob. So their view is probably a bit narrow based on the sampling available.

It's easy to see the reosmods business as a massive production if you're looking at it from the outside. But what does it matter whether 400 mods/month or 40,000 mods/month are produced...regardless of the business model, it is the end result that is important. The largest part of his client base knows next to nothing about the reo production, how many are made and how it is manufactured. I would be willing to bet that the vast majority of those who haven't spent any time here or chatting with Rob thinks that he's got his feet kicked up on his massive executive desk safely inside his secure corporate headquarters enjoying a stogie and a big belly laugh. If only.

Let it go...don't inflame the poster's position or give it any more undue attention. It's not worth it and besides, it wouldn't paint a very good picture of our forum that we've all worked so hard to build as a family unit over the last few years...sharing our love for these devices, the man who makes them and our friends who use them both new and veteran. New people tend to shy away from the forums fraught with drama, anger and hate...And it's really the new people who usually need help the most.

Thanks.
He was only 8mo old when he finished. So hadn't even had OFA prelims yet. Unfortunately he went strait to a pet home after seeing the X-rays :(

Love Newfies. My "Sage," English Mastiff did water rescue. Local Newfie club gave us an invite to join; an English Mastiff. Mastiff butts typically sink so they have to struggle harder to swim than many breeds. For some reason Sage's .... had some buoyancy.

Sorry about the bad luck. Can relate to your heartbreak.

I didn't think I ruffled any feathers and showed restraint. I just point out the fact REOs were more than just metal PVs and gave examples of Rob's excellent wood skills. The poster seemed to be under incorrect assumptions and instead of attacking him verbally....I enlightened him with visual aids. :)

Good evening all! Sorry I haven't been on the forum for such a long time - I'm not even gonna try to do a catch up! Just that time of year where weekends (and now most evenings as the days are longer again, :)) are being spent outdoors again. Just wanted to say that I hope everyone is doing fine. Am still madly in love with my REO - can't imagine vaping life without it or before it, hee, hee. Am really hoping I get a decent income tax return that justifies that second REO I am desperate to get my hands on. Anyway, just wanted to let you all know I haven't forgotten about you all ... had lots of laughs and tons of help here and intend to keep popping in.

I just love reading this. Here's a guy who dates back over 4 years on ecf, part of reoville, and still "checks in" .. I can't blame him for not trying to catch up, that's a loooot to read. Infact, I think I can only read things if there are emo-cons or "search" boxs now.

True...and I haven't gone back to read anymore...my post was more of a preemptive "strike"

 That's a gal...her name is Penny. But you're right....catching up in here is near impossible. I'm still catching up...:glare:

Now you know why we switched breeds

Wife & daughter with "Uno"

Way, way back I had field bred (less fancy coat for harsh working conditions for you non-doggie peeps) English Setter, Irish Setters, English Pointer, and Airedale, who wasn't shown so we clipped instead of stripped. First dog DH and I had was a Chiqapoo with wiry coat but he only weighed 9 lbs; virtually no grooming. He raised our first two English Mastiffs and ruled the house but was raised by cats so had lots of bummer moments not being able to leap up on kitchen counters and top of fridge. Only had English Mastiffs and Rotties until Cissy Briard in 1987. Boy, what a challenge after having short coats for so long. (We did have an occasional EM with pretty excessive undercoat that was a mess twice a year as far as house hair.) Cissy Briard had so much undercoat I swore that, if I ever got another Briard, I would choose one whose coat was not up to standard, by severly lacking in undercoat. I got to see a few pet Briards people brought to shows, that had too little undercoat. I so envied them. Our two Doodles are F1 and their mom was a field bred working trial Lab so good working coat. Because they were only half Standard Poodle, and not F2, F3, etc, with Spoo bred back in, they have very manageable coats. I couldn't have an F3 out here with our wild environment..... just not going to do the grooming necessary!!!!!!

Growing up next door neighbor had a Beagle. Loved that dog. When DH and I were downsizing, numbers and sizes, a few years ago, from always having 6-10 EMs and a sprinkle of Rotties, for 30+ years, all country house dogs, Beagles were up on top of our list as candidates. Have to have tough and hardy out here. Our Cattle Dog girls got much larger than we wanted. You read that average for conditioned ACD female is 30-40 lbs. Down here I've yet to see many that small especially ranch bred working ACDs. Our girls weigh 60lbs. One guy, ACD, Sam, the neighborhood celebrity, seen out jogging several times a week with his Dad weighs 75 lbs!!!!! Maybe small compared to our big guys but certainly not comfortable lap dogs, although they try to be. Even Jake Mastiff thinks he's a lap dog.

Hugs, Feisty Alice

My new copper vien mini 2.1 has been shipped ! :toast: or at least that's what the email said. At 3am. Either there's an automated something or other involved or Rob's working way to hard. Only Truckers are supposed to know that kind of sleep depravity! I'm so happy I think I'll celebrate with an old man nap! :ZZZzzzZZZzzzZZZzzz
To Fiesty Alice- Our family has been a Beagle family for at least 15 years, maybe longer. Great with kids, good in the house, will let you know whenever someone comes around. They will over-eat and they love to roam. We moderate Lily's food and have installed an invisible fence around the perimeter of our one acre slice of the Carilinas. Love the breed!

Let me get this straight, are you saying you'd prefer that I don't go over there and explain to him how the world turns, delicately, and in a politically correct manner point out the error of his ways, question the credibility of statements made when they're formulated from the base of a single digit I.Q., and i general refrain from giving him such a verbal thrashing that his grandparent would be embarrassed. Is that what you're saying?

Man, this place is getting boring. I'm old, I need some excitement in my life. I'm gonna rip the tags off my mattress and pillows and hope the SWAT team surrounds my house, then I'm gonna speed up on curves and start eating food with trans-fats.

Before I do that I have to moisturize my skin, it's a little dry and I want to look good for my crime spree.

Oh, good morning, Reonuts. Even though it's Friday I really don't care, everyday is pretty much the same. Ohhhhh, Friday! It's dance night, woot-woot-woot... and it's only one day before NASCAR weekend.

Disclaimer: If that guy wanders over here I will not be responsible for taking action to defend the Homeland. As Machiavelli so eloquently espoused; NEVER HURT YOUR ENEMY JUST A LITTLE.

(he was one of my people by the way.)
