Good morning!

Crazy morning and I'm annoyed that I have to keep arresting the same people over and over again. I'd like to meet some new thieves, drunk drivers, and drug users. Any volunteers?

There is a really good reason I don't leave the house often, and didn't drive for 14 month. I was a drug user. Walking was so painful, that if I did leave the house I needed LEGALLY prescribed drugs to dull the pain which in turn mean it was ILLEGAL to drive.

I do NOT volunteer to be arrested thank you very much! I could lose more than just my driving privileges, I could lose my nursing license as well! Keep up the good work catching the rest of the people who don't think like I do though. :toast:

Well I am in like flynn. Just gotta wait for shipping/chews nails. I have a friend who is really helping me out big time.

One word of advice: The REO does have an on/off function. Find it BEFORE you panic and come into REOville in tears cuz you broke your new toy that worked so well just a minute ago. Don't be like me!

I'll volunteer for "drunk" but only if it's a pretend arrest.

Okay want to amend. .... drunk disorderly conduct but not driving.

One more stop. Unload car and sun should be less UV. Still 90F and getting humid with storms coming in tomorrow or next but I'm really glad to have some heat. Next few days temps won't get much warmer than low 60s daytime. Awfully cool for here this time of year.

Hugs all 'round, Feisty Alice

Are you a cop? Remind me to never drive in texas, just kidding. I dunno about down south but up here the highway interdiction narcotics patrol officers are no joke, their drug is adrenaline.

Is there some truth to the rumor that having a DARE sticker or law enforcement donation sticker are things that could stick out in a bad way? Cops are great at profiling sometimes and since they have been lied to so much I don't blame them for thinking everyone is dirty

Yes, I'm a LEO.

DARE or similar stickers don't tend to get you criminally profiled nor do they hedge your bets towards a warning rather than a citation during a traffic stop. At least not where I live and work.

Also, we realize not everyone is "dirty." The nature of our job leads us to have many more encounters with "dirty" folks than those who are not. Professionalism requires us to keep that in mind when dealing with the public, but we're as human as folks in any other profession.

If you live in area where professionalism is lacking amongst your local law enforcement agencies, take some time to browse this website.

I'd rather deal with level headed folks that are fully aware of their civil rights than hot-heads with chips on their shoulders.

Amen little bro. Going to Nashville which takes most folks a couple hour longer than we do it.... DH and I got stopped, by State Hwy officer, going at least 20 mph over interstate speed limit. We were either far east Tx or west Arkansas. ... The only proof of insurance in car was an old one but he was able to verify current. DH readily admitted to speeding and was polite. Cop only gave warning and tiny lecture. Around Dallas and Fort Worth and parts between they aren't so "forgiving" but very professional about "not forgiving."

Many of the local banks are keeping police presence hours open around my town. Great way to meet and greet our local cops and express deep appreciation for what they do. We bank at three banks so I get to do a lot of appreciating. No hugging though.

Home at last. Having a couple of Smirnoff Signature Screwdrivers (malt "mixed drink" - disguised beer fancied up) and then out to the place formerly known as "the pit."

Love and hugs, Feisty Alice

For those having trouble with A7/Mini A7 center post shorts these might solve the problem.

510 Threaded Connector Insulators - Avid Vaper

Then again, they might not... what do I know.

Jack

I just emailed avid asking the same question. Pic on site shows insulating post inside a female 510 connector, male end looks much smaller. I know what you thinking

Pat great pic of you and your better half! You make a beautiful couple.
Nice putting a face to who we chat with on here!
And welcome Bullet - You will love your Reo!
And Val Huge thanks!

My pleasure. In addition to my "yummy stuff" I am sending you a bottle of the stuff I made that used the TFA caramel I don't care for since I have it. It will show you how different one small DIY ingredient can change the juice. I cannot tolerate the stuff I labeled "icky" though YMMV. The only difference in the recipe is the caramel!

BTW.... hair cut was without wash as I did that this a.m. and my freaky hair does best with a spritz only (and most of the salon stuff makes me itch and breakout except for the Aveda products but haircut there is $75) New guy. Best $11 haircut I've gotten in a long time. ($7 tip)

'Tis a pity that you can identify with a SMALL, MALE APPENDAGE.

LISA... Nutz is gonna yell at me! (Don't forget, I'm old, I think there's a law against it.)
