Nope...been there done that. In my youth I embarassed my dad too many times. It isn't easy when your dad is a cop in (was was then) a small town. All his buddies knew me and I got caught A LOT!Luckily I out grew that phase and I think I made him proud.

Where I grew up in the 70's, I went to school with the local police seargent's sons, if we're caught doing any of the things that boys do, we used to get a clip round the ear off him, then taken home, where I used to get a few good clips from my parents, for having the police at the front door.My Grandpa was the 1st Captain of Troop A, Highway Patrol here in Lee's Summit. I used to get stopped, mostly for speeding or having kids hanging out of the car, but I was lucky, could usually get tears in my eyes, and they would say, now, your Grandpa would be so upset, and I would say, I know, I'm sorry and they would let me go with a verbal warning. LS was a small town then too. Wouldn't work now!
