I wouldn't mess with Texan Law enforcement Karen....

Morning REOville

Morning Gil! That was cute! Use to ride with my monkey in the passenger seat. She would sit on the arm rest and look out the window. That is until she decided to open the glove box and look for packets of ketchup! Lots of people in other cars would slow down look and point. She didn't like that. She would come to me and squeeze between me and the steering wheel for a hug!

My Grandpa was the 1st Captain of Troop A, Highway Patrol here in Lee's Summit. I used to get stopped, mostly for speeding or having kids hanging out of the car, but I was lucky, could usually get tears in my eyes, and they would say, now, your Grandpa would be so upset, and I would say, I know, I'm sorry and they would let me go with a verbal warning. LS was a small town then too. Wouldn't work now!
Nope...been there done that. In my youth I embarassed my dad too many times. It isn't easy when your dad is a cop in (was was then) a small town. All his buddies knew me and I got caught A LOT! :( Luckily I out grew that phase and I think I made him proud. :) His pic in uniform is in the background. ;)

lol ............:laugh:lostknitter, well atleast you're honest about it now. women can turn on&off the waterworks like a pro, I even have vague memories as a kid of my mom pulling the same stunt when we were pulled over..

Men on the otherhand, probably only time we cry infront of a leo is when we're tasered lol..

I saw a pic, and I don't think it is a fatty like the guy said. Looks more like a hornet or an ERA or something, so forget my post. i had never seen a Fatty BF, and I did not think it would work unless you modified it by drilling a hole all the way through the center pot which is a long screw. I was more interested about the woodville it was sitting on:D

Where I grew up in the 70's, I went to school with the local police seargent's sons, if we're caught doing any of the things that boys do, we used to get a clip round the ear off him, then taken home, where I used to get a few good clips from my parents, for having the police at the front door.
Nothing like that now, with the human rights act

Hey Nurzrachit, RedhatPat here please to meet you. I haven't introduced myself directly and if this is your first time here and if you are getting your first reo soon, I really wanna hear about your first impressions! btw I don't post much except recently when you joined, so forgive me if I appear as an attention hog, not trying to overshadow ya brother! Pietro is an awesome dude, my multi-quote hero (you'll see) and it's guys like him that kept me coming back
