I need help. I got my 1mm eckowool and set up my coil. Used 30 g kanthal and it meters out to 1.1ohm. Using it on my Reo grand the 18650 battery. When I put it on my Reo and squonked it to get the eckowool wet and fired it the RM2 caught on fire. I mean literal flame. Blew it out and re sqounked to make sure good and wet and it still ignites. HELP what am I doing wrong?

Check resistance again. You do know to put leads together get a dead read first the subtract that number form coil reading to get proper reading right ?
I have the ohm meter that you screw the atty into. Not the one with the probes.
Ah I see. I'm not sure on them. Still test again. Sounds like a real hot coil. Or it has a real hot spot.
does the ekowool flame if you torch it? it shouldn't. i wonder if some plastic or sumpin wandered into the rm2.
