Hmmm don't know. I just tried to torch a piece of the eckowool and it will not catch fire alone. The juice is Boba's mixed with another juice that I have been using for quite awhile. The spring has not dropped on my Reo. And ohm's is reading 1.7 I have never seen one actually go into flame.
Did you do a dry burn before wicking ? It pas to watch for hot spots. A spot that heats up way faster than the rest of the coil. Is guess that's what you have happening.
one leg of the coil glows a lot brighter than the rest of the coil. Microcoils are a lot less prone to it than regular builds. In a genesis atomiser they can be a real pain to adjust out until all the coil glows evenly.

i don't suppose you were drinking everclear when you made that coil?
Hi loli. A hot leg happens when the wire between a post and coil glows red before the wraps in your coil glow. Typically not a problem with microcoils.
Tried to upload a pic or a short video clip of this happening and says it is to large. Darn want someone who can help me see what is happening.
OK so trying to narrow this down. The eckowool dry would not ignite when I put a lighter to it. I dipped a new piece of eckowool in to the juice bottle and lit it and it ignited. WOW that is scarry. Been using this ejuice for quite awhile. I mixed Boba's bounty with another ejuice that is zero nic with a 50pg/50vg. So can I determine it is the 50/50 mix? Is it even safe to use at all? I am presuming many people use the Boba's with there RM2's with no problem.
I wish I could. I am so computer stupid. I tried to resize it and it still shows a red X when I try to use it on ECF saying to large.
Still experimenting here trying to figure this out. I was wondering if it might have been some reaction of my juice with the eckowool. So I used my rolled cotton and dipped into my juice bottle and lite it and it flamed right up. So is it the juice? Is it safe to use??? This is scary. Can it catch on fire using this juice with my shorty carto's or on a clearomizer?
i just dipped some ekowool in boba's and much to my surprise it made a nice little flame when i used a bic.
If you get it got enuf long enuf it will burn. Keep it wet you'll be good.
OK gonna try again. Here is a quick video of it. Does not take long for it to turn to an open flame.
2 inch piece of 2.5mm ekowool. dry end won't burn. end dipped in AVE BB burns like a candle. maybe Boba's has some alcohol base?
but from what little i know about all this, it does seem like Cheri's coil just has a hot spot that causes ignition. i would just rebuild a new one and see what happens...
