Yeah my plans for sneaking home and surprising the wifey got busted when my alternator decided to disintegrate. First time I've ever seen a catastrophic failure of an alternator. So I'm stuck in Topeka, Ks until tomorrow and had to give up my load to go home so it wouldn't be late.

We may go on a ride, but that all pales with my normal plans for Sunday: champagne brunch, maybe a little shopping, then WD!!!

I am trying to talk my friend into coming over Saturday night (I even bought a nice roast to entice her, and am thinking about making onion soup) so she can finish catching up and be ready for the new ones

The 4 does on the feeder munched corn for a while and then turned as one and stared at my east fence. There was another doe trotting along with a buck following. Unfortunately (for me anyway) I didn't see the antlers until just before he jumped into the brush behind the doe. But it's only the first day, I have another 11 days of vacation to get one I'm just happy to be seeing deer.

My buddy sent me a pic of the one he shot this morning.

I think he's f' ing with me

DH use to drive over the road. We both hated it when something like this happened!!

pretty good trying to get a good coat of paint on my grand that im hapy with ive painted then stripped it off like 3 times oh well i guess it aint gona be perfect
