The 4 does on the feeder munched corn for a while and then turned as one and stared at my east fence. There was another doe trotting along with a buck following. Unfortunately (for me anyway) I didn't see the antlers until just before he jumped into the brush behind the doe. But it's only the first day, I have another 11 days of vacation to get one :) I'm just happy to be seeing deer.

My buddy sent me a pic of the one he shot this morning.

Sorry it happened to you. :(

Yeah surprising her never seems to work out for me. Lol every time i try she usually makes plans on the day I'm set to surprise her lol. But I'm home far more then most drivers with the exception of local trucks that is.

Good evening, REOvil!

Sending huge hugs and kisses to Alice...so sorry to hear some of the furbabies have to find a new home. Hopefully they will get great homes with humans that will keep in touch a little bit. Wish I wasn't already overwhelmed with pets. Everything else sounds great! I agree with Val about downsizing. I still have fifteen boxes of stuff that I haven't opened in three years. Unpacked one huge box the other day when searching for recipes and threw 90% of it in the trash. (mismatched Tupperware, microwave cookware that I never used and some left over cat hair)

David- my vocabulary escapes me at the moment....your day just plain sucked. Hope tomorrow is better.

Scott- I love your bad boy Grand!

Yeah we have a 5yo and another due around Christmas. I was just offered a local job with outstanding pay and benefits but taking it means getting rid of my truck and I'm hesitant about that. But can't afford its payment without running it.

You know someone to lease it to that you trust?

It is an option, but you do want to be around to watch the kids grow up. :)

I thought about it but don't trust anyone enough lol. It's been my baby since i bought it and have about 50k invested already. I'd be heartbroken if someone hurt it. Me and my wife have been debating it non stop since i got the offer. There's good and bad to both options. So we figure wait for now the job is an open ended offer whenever i want. So when the time is right I'll do what seems best.

i wasn't in a contest - i was waiting for the varnish on my new grand to dry, but i was in a hurry when i bought it today and bought the oil based polyurethane coat = 3 hours cure time.

So what to do? Oh, i know. i'll just have a small bowl of ice cream......

T

So long as you enjoyed eating it thats all that matters :D
