Good Day Fine REO Folk. Drive by. Really busy preparing for move, including dispersing contents of two large storage lockers. One is filled with mostly huge metal office file cabinets. Getting rid of those frees up $300/mo. Things are going to be really tight.
Thanks for good wishes P and Kaypers. My friend Teddie is sure my sleep will probably improve significally. Six hours is a long sleep for me. Doing about 3 hrs some nights but my brain has allowed me a few 6 hr sessions. I don't sweat the specifics but for now and next few months I have to use awake time like normal hours most of society keeps so doing 3-4 a.m. to 8 a.m sleep if I can. I've started doing some dozing during late night TV watching with DH and we've even managed dinner, a few nights, before midnight.
Took two dogs to new vet. Two down three to go. Teddie warned me they are expensive and she was so right. I even had coupon for visit charge for first two, first visit. Exam, shots, heartworm and fecal test, nails clipped but nothing extra (I have meds for ear infections - floppy eared swimming dogs really prone to those) and we purchase Ivomec bulk for monthly heartworm prevention, $200 per dog even with discount coupon. Love the clinic, staff, and Vet and facility. They even have suites for boarding; especially needed for large and GIANT dogs. It's one base rate for suite and you can put as many dogs in as will fit, walked 3-5 times a day and they have day care with play time. Special needs, meds, etc extra. $117 per 24 hrs. Doggie house sitter cost more than that. Will board them day movers here. Found a fenced, off leash pet park 10 miles from new place. Plan on doing 3 times a week. Will be doing almost daily road work with two dogs, one session, and third 2nd session, using my new tricycle, around the new place. Hardly any car traffic especially back where we are located. Huge greenway belt, at place, with concrete paths but have to make sure path wide enough for trike and dogs. We want to move to one of the several units that have porch facing greenbelt but can't do a move till we are there 6 months. I can put in application after 4 mo.s and they will hold, with deposit. I figure I'll be spending about 4 hrs daily taking care of and keeping dogs happy and healthy. No off lead at new place so they heve to be pottied on lead. Should be interesting as they have had 24/7 doggie door to large yards since puppyhood. When traveling with Jake Mastiff he has refused to pottie for 24 hrs on lead.
Karen, hope you, daughter and grand son are recovering from trauma.
DH just came in to remind me to get to work.
Love all around. Beaming out positive and healing. Find and give some happy.
