Hi Den, and Jay!
Den, how was the cooking? Worth the dirty dishes I hope. Do you have a dishwasher (other than yourself?) I put my pots and pans in there and it has a setting for them. I tell DH not to bother to buy me anything (except my Cousances/le creseut which doesn't need it) that won't go in the dishwasher. Knives included. I don't got time for dat (sic).
Oh wait Jay, I bet you are better than that
There is a thread that gives the dimensions. When Scott checks in, he should tell us which ones he has once and for all![]()
my youngest daughter is a vegetarian, so everything is "interesting"
the last dish she cooked involved quinoa (which i never heard of in my life) and zucchini (which i have always detested, but she guaranteed i would love it.) i loved everything, of course. there was some other stuff i forget we got at the farmer's market that morning. the one thing she forgot to cook was the purple cauliflower we bought that morning...
i swear quinoa did not exist when i was younger. same thing with tilapia. who the hell ever heard of that stuff 30 years ago? i used to dine out at pretty nice restaurants a lot in my 30's and i don't remember that stuff. there are others, but i can't think of the names now.
my theory is that things like tilapia used to be considered trash foods, but now they have fancier names and are more popular. but thanks to my black belt in sloth, i'm too lazy to google it
The one on the right looks so happy the other one looks like it wants/expects a reward
That is why i use paper plates and styrofoam cups . Anything disposable is good for me
I am not a environmentalist nor do i wish to be one.

Quinoa has been around a long time, you just had people feed you wheat instead.
Tilapia also, but since it is easy to farm and fast maturing, it has gained popularity. They used to raise them with the salmon so they would keep the tanks clean. They love to eat salmon feces apparently. DH hates the thought of eating a fish that is used to eat other fish feces, even though they now farm it alone, so we don't buy it![]()
the chicken of the sea...
i detest comcast.
i called them yesterday morning to check out options to lower my outrageous bill. i told the kind lady i used the phone precisely once in the last 3 years and didn't need it. she said she had a deal that would cut my bill in half, keep my channels, and lose the phone.
so last night i had to listen to the 49ers game on radio, because she cut my channels in half.
called later last night and the guy "fixed" it by offering another deal.
just got off the phone with another guy, who had a third deal (also the best one they had available to me, just like the other two said)
bottom line is i won't be watching SOA tonight. and for all i know, my bill will be double, not lower...
