Morning Jen! Yesterday I could not see thumbnail pics. Even my REO pics on my profile were gone.

This morning all the thumbnail pics are back and the REO pics are also.

From what I read the servers are taking extra time to find the attachments.

Have a wonderful day sweetie!
Thanks for the tip. I backtracked and can see Ed's pictures today! :) I hope you have a great (pain free) day, too!

Nice cane, Ed! Always good to have a nice beating stick.

Attention folks! I need help from our domesticated reonauts on choosing a vacuum cleaner because ours is onits last leg, plus it's year old, real heavy, and sucks. What I want is something relatively light-weight while not compromising on power. I want this sucker to suck like a western european ....... But I can't afford no Dyson. I also don't want a 2-peice or bagged version. Prefer to find it locally but amazon is acceptable. First hand experience with said vacuum is a plus.

Thanks in advance,

RHP
I bought a Bissell, Powerforce bagless...cheap at Walmart 4 years ago. Nowhere close to a Dyson, kirby, hoover or rainbow, but for the price I have been pleased. I'm pretty sure it was under a hundred bucks and I know I had expected to replace it by now. It gets heavy use with the three dirt dogs that constantly trample through the house.

I have used a Dirt Devil Vacuum for years. Bought a cheap one for around $50 in 2003 and it has been used by my daughter now for 6 years.

I bought a new one and love it. They don't suction up through the motor like most vacuums. There are casters on the back instead of wheels. It turns great and very easy to use.

This is what I now have:
Amazon.com: Dirt Devil Vigor Turbo Bagless Upright Vacuum, UD70110: Vacuums & Floor Care

Can't help ya there, RHP. We've learned over the years to embrace dirty floors.
Having scorpions as part of your insect population creates a necessity for shoes. Shoes on the feet make it a lot easier to ignore a little dirt on the floor. I vacuum rugs, but don't sweep until I can hear the grit under my shoes on the wood & concrete floors.

Ed posted pics of his very nice canes.

Well, he did have another very nice wood cane. But he decided to send it to me! I am very happy! Already brought out the Howard's Feed & Wax and it has a few coats on it now. You all know me good enough to know I can't help but wax wood!

Thank you again Ed! It is a very special gift!

For the love of all things mihty, stop posting so many pictures of gentlemen's canes or I'm gonna end up buying one then when my signifcant other asks me why I'll just shrug my shoulders and say the internet made me do it. Then she will take away my iPad forever.

RHP

I posted a picture of MY lady cane! Wood. Nothing like wraping my fingers around it, gripping easily and feeling the grain. I also have a adjustable metal offset cane. The wood one just has class. And as Ed has told me, it could easily put a dent in someones plans to harm me.
