I switched over about 6 months ago. I absolutely love my safety razor. What one did you go with?

Mine's a Merkur HD 34C. I absolutely love it. First shave I got with no irritation or nicks in many years. Wish I had known this years ago. Love the posterity of shaving like my father and his father before him also.

Which razor did you choose and what blades/soaps/creams/AS's do you like?

We're both doing fine here! It's warmer than i'd like - but i have fans running. Chili sounds pretty good. I have leftovers tonight, since HRH got a deal on brisket and ribs over the weekend.

There's really no bad way to serve chili, but over cornbread or Fritos is my favorite.

That's a good hobby to pour money into, a co-worker of mine built an observatory on his ranch last year and runs a fun little astronomy site called Dear Astronomer, check it out sometime! I used to be big on astronomy when I was a kid, but I spend too much of my time staring into a screen to look up anymore.

Well no wonder, you can't stay afloat without catering to cracker enthusiasts, they're the core of the economy.

I tried astronomy as a boy - my father had a decent setup as remember. But there is not much worse than going outside in a freezing English night and shivering for an hour . Too bad he never had a shed with a hole cut in the roof!

If this heat continues and i'm sure it will since i live in Texas, in about another week i shall be totally clean shaven again (i like a bit of stubble - i am lazy) and the hair goes too!
