Just want to pop in for a minute and say . Blue had a stroke :-( That is why he can not close his mouth. He also has a lump that is being checked for cancer near his throat. The vet says if it is what she thinks it is, he is pretty much in God's country :-(
She said he looks great for his age , so we are hoping that it isn't cancerous. He will have to eat soft food now because she said that he seems to be keeping hydrated and the stroke didnt affect hhis ability to swallow. it is just harder for him to get the water in now. Since canned food is mostly water she thinks that will help

Oh sweetie...that's what I was afraid of. I'm so sorry. ((((hugs)))) Is there a prognosis if its not cancer?
