I have had my REO for 2 days now and I am not super thrilled with it. The Wetbox seems to put out way better flavor then then REO does but I am still trying different e-liquids.

The 801 connection works ok, not a lot of vapor though, had some problems with the 510 and 901 using the adaptors. I will give it one more day before I write my own review.

Do any REO users out there have any tips for me?

I find that a 510 atty at 3.7 or 6v (prefer 6v) is that best combo for me

i use vaporbomb juices with 100vg 24mg still get a great TH

I tried the 901 and was not crazy about it

i would try some lr attys if your sticking to 3.7

if not id go for 510 @6v use some tenergy 3v 900 mahs last for a long time

dont pump the juice just hold the plunger for few seconds until at the adapter u see some seepage then stop and go!!!!!!!

+ 1 for everthing Amajn said, I have found 3.7 and an LR510 a great combo.

Also as Amajn said dont pump as you might with a wetbox just push and hold, will see the juice in one of the holes. I find that even if you keep the pressure on the button once you see it in the holes it very rarley leaks down the atty.

Hope that helps

First I want everyone who reads my posts to know, I am not certain what the problem with my REO is yet. If it is the unit or if it is me.

I AM NOT BLAMING THE RIO, YET, SO PLEASE DO NOT THINK THIS IS A BAD MOD!.

I am just trying to get some suggestions from other REO owners that might be able to determine the problem. I am also in contact with the builder and he has offered his assistance as well.

I am going to try some Johnson's creek next, and will crack open another brand new 801, 901 and 510 and try again. I will also try with LR atty and at 6v. I will consult with maker and when all has been said and done post the final result of my REO experience.

Again, I am not blaming the REO yet, I want to make sure that it is not user error!

Thank you Amajn and Chris, have been doing the push and hold from watching the vid. Will try LR atty when I get home from work.

Here is my method, everybody is different.

Fill the bottle almost all the way.
Screw the plunger depth all the way in.
Plunge and hit at the same time, just a little bit of gurggling usually works for me (back off the depth until it gurggles).
Through out the day as you hit it and plunge.. when the gurggle stops back out the plunger screw.

I like the 801 LR and 510 LR @ 3.7 or standards at 6v.

I hope it works for you!

I'm still experimenting with my new Reo. I've had it for one full day.All feeders have a learning curve IMO so I'm gonna give it a few days before passing judgment. I do find I prefer it with a HV 510 @4.5Ω and 2 x 3.0v CR123's better than a LR 510 at 3.7v. Just seems a bit richer in flavor. I have LR 801's on order to try. I will say that I seem to be going through a lot more juice than when I use 510 carto's. Time will tell. Oh ya, one more thing. This thing is LARGE. Pretty but large.

I had the same problem when I first received my REO. I called and Rob told me to back off the screw and try the plunge and hold technique. I love it so much I ordered another. I like to trade back and forth between different juices.

Everyone should own one...pure & simple..nuff said!!!!:toast:

Now that I have mine, couldn't agree more! There is no 'fiddling' or 'wiggling' or hping and praying about this thing. Simple, just load, lock and go. The only 'problem' is deciding what juice to vape all day, but since it comes with 2 bottles, even that is not an issue.

A great PV MOD, well worth the investment.

I haven't received my Reo yet but have another wood mod not juice fed that I can relate too with the same problem while dripping. I could be wrong but think it may have to do with the atomizer and sometimes the juice as it doesn't happen all the time.

I have had my REO about a week now, and I've used it for a few hours. I can't get past the fact that my strawberry juice tastes like wood. Doesn't happen when I drip it into other pv's but with the box it always tastes like wood. Will that go away in time or is this phenom exclusive to me?
Thanks
Ed

Well, I adjusted the atomizer connection and the outside button for the plunger and am now getting much better vapor. It appears that the bottle was not getting squeezed hard enough to force enough juice up and into the attys.

I have also tried the REO at 6v with the 801 atty and a Low resistance 510 atty. So now that the vapor problem is solved I am still trying to find a good juice I can use so that it can be more tasty. I am currently using some Johnson Creek Summer Peach and so far the only way I taste it is if I use a cartomizer on the REO.

What juices are you using?

P.S. I want to thank everyone for their help!:D

Right now, I'm running a combo mix I concocted late last night, Strawberry, Mint and some Vanilla. Pretty darn good, if I do say so myself.

Still haven't tried it at 6V, should be good. The LR 901 didn't do much for me, love it on my SB, but was only so-so on this. I did manage to kill 2 LR 510 attys already. One was a new 2 Ohm one and the other one was past it's prime anyway. Not sure why the kicked the bucket - user error, bad batch, IDK. Gotta find a source for some decent LR 510.

I thought that taste was all in my head, looking at the chunk of wood in my hand as i exhaled. Went away after about a week.
