You will not be disappointed. I didn't realize how much time I spent dripping and changing batteries until I could go all day without doing so. And while the Reo is larger than some other mods, it's STYLISH enough that it doesn't matter. Top of the line, amazing craftmanship. They're beautiful.

Got up this morning, checked my email ..... got my shipping notice !! Can't wait and will be here before my b'day on the 11th !! :toast:

Good for you! I'm sure you will enjoy it. Be sure to talk to your other PV's before receiving your REO, they are going to feel neglected, it's that good ;)

What wood combo did you get? Mine is Purple Heart and with a Black Cherry door. Looks real nice with a dark red Atty.

I've had to re-home some of my other PVs, they were just sitting in the drawer being all lonely because my Reo was getting all my attention. My second two should be here soon, the custom maple and blood wood in my previous post and a cherry with purple heart door. Then I get to decide which two colors I'm keeping and which one is going to my brother-in-law. My son has one in all cherry. We'll be an all Reo family soon.

Why is it called BRAZILIAN cherry?
In my woodworking experance, Brazilian cherry is also called Jatobá or Guapinol (Hymenaea courbaril), which is quite different from American Cherry. Jatoba is a very hard wood. Jatoba wood features a tan/salmon color with black accent stripes that over time turns to a deep rich red color.

Words of warning: If you buy one, be prepared to buy two because in the VERY unlikely event that you have to send your REO back to Robert for repairs, you will not want to be without a back up.

After a little more time with it, I can honestly say that I haven't touched my other mods. This thing takes vaping and just makes it simple and hassle free. I've read comments here and there on the size of the thing and I'll say again:

Yes, it is a little on the larger size, it's about the size of a pack of analogs without the atty/tip. BUT, it still feels comfortable and natural in hand and I can go nearly TWO DAYS of moderate/heavy vaping without needing to do a thing with it unless I want to swap out flavors. I have yet to flood a 510LR atty and a three week old atty shows no signs of slowing down. Despite the size, it still just looks classy as well.

As for Redeyedancer? Rob, you're the best. Seriously, this guy has gone out of his way to ship overnight to me twice when I needed things before a weekend get away. He's always quick to answer questions despite the fact that he has to be a very busy man with trying to keep up with demand.

If you're still on the fence, still thinking about it, stop thinking and do it, you won't regret it.

I just have one question .................. is it Tuesday yet ??????
Lady (if I may call you that), Get your battery's charged up, your juice ready and take the time to talk to your other PV's, because they are going to feel lonely.
Seriously, I have retied my eGo. And my SB is just sitting around looking forlorn. - Its that good.

Guess I'm not helping any, huh;) (Major case of stalking the Mailman on Tuesday for you)

LOl thanks GB (I think :?:) but done, done, and done ......... the only thing I maybe should do is pick up a few more 801 attys, I have plenty LR 510s, a few regular 510s, and a few 302s, but only 1 801 ... might hold off and see which one(s) I like best on the Reo .......

I'm so excited I can't stand it ! :D

I personally like the 801's then the 901's on the Reo...But i would hold off until you got it to make sure which is your favorite. Try them all, then you can decide.

The mini Reo is coming out pretty soon. Very excited about this !.

I havent run the Reo at 6v yet like some of you guys have. Exactly what batteries do you use for this ? the 3.0 v x 2 ? Just wondering, since i might have to try that out on my Reo.

Hope everyone had a fantastic 4th !

I've been running Tenergy RCR123 3V 900mAh in mine now for over a week with a HV 510 or Std 901 Atty. Very nice. The batteries last about 6-7 hours of constant use. I've got 3 sets of batteries that are on constant rotation.

Fantastic reviews folks. Thanks a million for sharing your expertise and experience.

It really cuts a newbies learning curve down a lot to hear what you vets have to say about these mods. So, I ordered a REO today... #4 Paduak Maple door. That wood is sooo pretty. I had been holding out for a GGTS ... but it got delayed. Now, I gotta hope I have the cash when it finally arrives thanks to this awesome mod.

The REO looked sooooo fantastic that I just had to have one. Form, function and beauty ... all in one package. Now, I just have to endure the pain of waiting for the mail lady to deliver this baby.

Vaping was supposed to be cheaper than analogs. This may not turn out to be the case with all these fantastic mods Ive been seeing. Oh well.

I keep hearing the term 3rd generation. My mind is wondering what this means. My guess is 1st generation = a plain e-cig. 2nd generation = a higher power battery mod. 3rd generation = high power batt mod with juicing capability. Is this close to being correct?

Yes, that's the way I understand 3rd gen mods.
As far as Vaping being cheaper, LOL, maybe, in a couple of months, but, what cost your health?? Enjoy the journey, you will be here a while longer.

Hope you MailPerson delivers tomorrow, I understand the wait :mail:

This thing is all you guys said it was .... and then some !!!

Playing with attys atm ... some of my LR 510s work, some don't, so going through sorting them...... really like the 801 ... need to see about finding a LR one, up until now have not tried one ...

Felt really strange going out this AM w/o my bottle of juice in tow .... LOL my bottle of juice was exactly like my ciggy lighter, I'd sit it down someplace, walk away, 10 mins later say ... where is my juice ??

Anyhooo ... I'm babbling .... just wanted to thank you all for the great reviews that helped me decide, and thank you Robert for giving us such a fabulous device !!!

My Reo just arrived! I stuck 2 RCR 123A's in it, and it works like a charm! I have some of the 3.7v batteries on order, because 6v can be a little hot.

The only problem i had was the first set of 123's got really hot in there! I don't know what that was all about. The 2nd set worked perfect! This is a nice unit! Well done, and it looks great. I got the cherry/cherry. I will have to pull out some of my old 510's and give them a try now, too. I never really cared for them, but we'll see what they are like with this. I'm sure it will be an improvement. I know my wife will be happy she won't have to keep putting drops in when we go on a long drive :)
