Good morning REOnauts from Vienna
If the builds mentioned don't work for you, you might want to try some SS wire. You'd still be at higher watts, but it is soooooo smooth, not hot, not harsh, but I still get throat hit. I was always building duals at 1.3 ohms which put me at 11-13 watts depending on the charge of my battery. Accidentally made .6 ohm coils with some SS 316 L and thought, well lemme try em instead of just chunkin em. Wow......I was at 30 watts and loving it! I'd never been able to sub ohm with kanthal, and didn't really care. But when I did subohm with the SS I was tasting flavors in my juice I'd never tasted before. So .5 ohm coils with SS for me now!
the airhole on th rm2 can be drilled out to make it airyerHi Reonauts! I finally have a Reo, so now I need an atty. I need something single coil, for dtl, that unscrews for builds & wicking. My hands are messed up, & it's painful for me to try to pull tops off the bases. I know the RM2s, & Chalices screw together. Not crazy about the looks of a Chalice, & the RM2s have such small airflow. Any ideas? Thanks!
welcomeHey all! First time poster. Been eyeballing the p 67s lately. I see that rob is dropping some on his site middle of next month. Anyone know if there's gonna be an f5 war for these? Would love to pick up a sweet tumbled sl!
Hey there KH. Looks like you've got some sound advice here. I will second the smoothness of SS also. Am also thinking that the placement of the coil is important and it depends on your atty. For example, the closer to the edge that you build a coil on an RM2, the more you taste (and perhaps harsher for serious tootle puffers). Another example: I just placed a coil higher than usual in my O-16 (in the middle, above the posts) and the throat hit increased dramatically.Hey guys -
Need some help here...I continue to have trouble vaping on the REO and while I love it, I am really, really a tootle puffer! Think Protank...Anymore vapor and power and my lungs really begin to smart. I
My ideal vape is a 1.6 ohm coil and somewhere between 8-10 watts. No more.
Can anyone help recommend a build that would replicate what I am looking for? I can read the ohms calculator like anyone else, so that is not the issue. I just can't seem to get it there without building with a ton of wraps that takes a day and a half to heat up.
I have 26, 28 and 30 gauge kanthal. I also have SS 28gauge.
Thanks, all!
Welcome! Stay tuned. I've seen all kind of sales through the years. Some that sold out pronto and some that didn't sell out so quickly. As we learn more about how many Rob is releasing, we may get a better idea. I can say that you will really dig your P-67Hey all! First time poster. Been eyeballing the p 67s lately. Welcome! Glad you posted. Off the top of my noggin, I can't think of a one coil, DTL hit atty that unscrews. I too have enlarged the hole in my RM2 a bit (still awesome flavor but not a complete DTL experience). A wide bore drip tip helps.Hi Reonauts! I finally have a Reo, so now I need an atty. Welcome back! Wow, a 3 week getaway is a nice chunk of time to decompress from the world. Yep, Northern Cal/Oregon coast are spectacular. We live about 20 minutes from the coast. I never tire of the beauty and wonder how I got so luckyGood morning REOnauts
I hope everyone is healthy and happy! We just got back from a 3 week trip up the Cali/Oregon coast and back. It's a beautiful world out there.
Have a great day!

What atty are you using?
Thanks! I may have to go with the RM2 & find someone to drill it for me. I use Kayfuns & I just slipstrem a little extra air for dtl.Welcome! Glad you posted. I'm presently using the o-16's (flavor and DTL) but the caps don't screw on.
Folks with more experience in the single, DTL, and screw-on caps, will certainly chime in.
