Hmmm... a bit slow of late, so here's a random reo pic to pick things up.

View attachment 638431

This bad boy has history with me. It's not the first grand I ever had and it's not the last. It has, however, survived 2 drops from the roof of my house (once with me plummeting along side it), a fall from my pocket while biking down a hill (at ~50km/hr, resulting in a 10m skid on pavement), being lost in the ocean for 4 hours until the tide went out (drinking and fishing do not mix), and a racoon biting it to get at the juice while camping (I crap you not).

I'm wondering how a SVA, Lukkos , or A&M would have faired o_O
Absolutely amazing! And, reassuring!

I know, right?

The wacky thing is I neeeeever damage mods... except this one. I can tarnish a TRA in, like, a week, sure, but drops, submergings, and feral animal attacks? Only my charmed (cursed?) metallic red.

It's like the mod of Dorian Gray.

We are just getting back from a quick visit with friends in Southern Oregon. While there, we loaded up the littlest ones and headed to a feed store. We had to leave the big ones (donkeys and lab at home...not enough room in the basket).

@Papa_Lazarou that is an amazing story. Not so much that a Reo withstood all that trauma but that it was yours!! I read the story but kept looking to see that it was really your post. I wouldn't have figured you for a skeleton dude. (I so enjoy the Reo diversity).

And @Rayonati Sloth, I do believe your pooch is spooning himself. Awwwwwwww

Heh - I'm not, really. Here's the story...

I call him Yorick, as he cracks me up with all the calamity - "a fellow of infinite jest, of most excellent fancy". The skull seemed apropos of that.

It's a 2008 with 57K miles on it. :)
wow......so YUR the lil ol lady who only drove it to church on Sundays :p

It was nearly 10 1/2 years old, and only had 47k on it.
and yur the other one :D

@Debadoo thsts so fun that you are digging the O-16!! It is definitely my favorite but I know you were concerned that you could replace your big air Derringer. It is true testament that the O-16 is a versital atty!
IKR! All that concern, and it just made my derringer seem anemic. It truly is very versatile!

I'm kinda saddened with recent lack of boomer. Unless I missed pics somewhere

Good to see ya hun!

I called my company again tonight and the lady told me the charges were actually made using my old card, but delayed. So they hit my account even though I have a new CC #. I hope this is true, though it seems weird
yucko........sorry you've been going through all that. hope this is all it is and that it's resolved soon.

Look at how he puts his legs o_O
Frankie does that, but he'll have his back toes right up to his nose with his front ones folded like that.

We may have a new addition to the family tomorrow. Went to the shelter yesterday to see about one that was posted on FB who's time was up. He was in the process of being adopted by someone when we got there. Was very glad, cuz he wouldn't have been a good fit with Frankie. But son and gd found a much calmer dog, lab mix that looks like she will be a great fit. She's not available til tomorrow though. I'll have to drop my son at school, and head to the shelter. Let her and Frankie get to know each other in a play area, and if all goes well (and no one gets to her before I do) take her home.

Hi sweety

I love my o16 clones too.

Mum is back in hospital. Had another fall, and added a broken collar bone to her already cracked hip. So she's in rehab generally being a difficult patient and yelling at the staff a lot.

So @Debadoo, was the pooch at the shelter a good fit with Frankie and ya'all? (Talkin' like a southern bell here ).
Unfortunately no. We were there two hours before they opened, to make sure we got her. She is super sweet to people......but began going after Frankie. We were watching her closely after to intervene immediately, but they kept getting more intense as the day went on, rather than less. She spent the night on the back porch and will go back tomorrow. The last time we thought she had really gotten him for a second, but he's ok. He just had a rough day. Very sad to have to take her back, but can't have the lil guy being attacked in his own home. Weird part is, I told the kids to take em on a pack walk, and they did great with that. Got along, walked together, mutual .... sniffing ensued with no issues. Soon as they got back in the house she went for him. Lowered tail, head and was after him. Newp, no nada.......not happening. She'll be a great dog for someone with no other dogs. Not sure how she'll do with children. Absolutely no aggression was shown to any of us.

psssst great job, but it's y'all heheheh

Nope, doesn't sound like a good fit and that there's a better option out there for her and you. (Great info for the shelter staff for her next home). That is our bottom-line. We don't care much about age, health etc. but the newbie has to be able to get along with the existing pack. Years ago, we wouldn't nip it in the bud so quickly and then the house was chaotic. Nope, been there done that.
Looking forward to hearing about the next contestant

Good day y'all.

Am wondering if anyone has a suggestion about a case to carry a back-up for a mini in a purse or pack? For years, I've used a hard-sided cigar case to carry a back-up tube mod when I'm out and about. I believe I have only needed it once because I carry a Reo . (and I think that time it was a juice issue).
The cigar case is too small inside even for my mini but it is certainly longer and bulkier than I need to tote around in my purse.

Any thoughts?
