I brought the Widow/Black Nuppin' combo back out of moth balls today as the appropriate Reo to run a new SNEF DIY I made (Mort Noire). The DIY lives up to it's name, is very intense even for me (who sometimes likes in my face intense flavor), and is ice cold. Another winner for me (albeit it one that will not be used in excess).

Yep - this year is the worst since 1958, apparently. 4000+ square km lost and counting.
wow. I know that sometimes the fires are needed to get rid of the old and create new growth, but wow, I just hate it when sooooo much is destroyed. And especially when people and homes are endangered or worse.

$16.28 Free Shipping YFTK Replacement Dropper Bottle for SVA 75W Style BF Squonk Box Mod (5-Pack) (Silicone + SS, 5-Pack) at m.FastTech.com

These are the ones I got, but I have since seen at least one other one (similar but more expensive) using the same basic design. I think bottle makers of the world have finally caught on. Anyway, I'm really, really loving them. I started with a five pack and have reordered....

Edit: That $16 price is for a five pack.
and they are amazing!! I recently tried one of the italian bottles again, and it seemed to take a lot to mash it. that's bad when they seem stiff. I'd be in trouble with a regular bottle now. Sooooooo appreciate Jan hookin me up with these!!

A friend who lives in Spokane is getting a lot of smoke from those also. Be careful hun
Yup as well as the fires burning on this side of the border, it makes the air tough to breath. The lake I camp at has been on fire since July 15 and they don't expect containment through September. I am glad we got up there this year over the 4th of July weekend, it wont be the same next time we go. Outdoor activities have been severely restricted lately, we are situated in a valley so the smoke seems to settle here like a suffocating blanket that you cant kick off and combine that with temps that have been near 100, is it too early to say I am looking forward to snow?

We are thinking of you all up north. Fingers and toes crossed for a decline in those outrageous temps and fires. We are staying vigilant here. Thank goodness for the men and women volunteer and paid firefighters. Some of my biggest heroes. ❤️
Amen!!

Solidarity, brother - we'll get through this.

I am not a proponent of air conditioning when it's not absolutely warranted, but it does really help to both filter the air some and allow you to not have to have windows open. Our cat had even started sneezing until we switched to this.

Absolutely.

It's heartening to see the effort come together. Firefighters from Mexico and South America have even come here to help.

Your camera work is only surpassed by your subject matter, Spydro. What a beauty.

Kind words JC. :) I might have a wee bit of an eye for comp... but it's just luck if passable when only using the pair of old technology point and shoot camera's that I've always just used hand held for vaping pictures. I have other digital camera's (and high end film camera's with endless accessories), but these are just way easier and take up less space. What I probably should be using is the digital SLR that has lots of accessories to enhance it even though it is even older technology. For me it's too much clutter to drag it all out along with the tripods & strobe or lights, light tent, etc for casual pictures now days though.
