Just a word of advice. If you're getting a Copper Vein, spray it with a couple coats of clear lacquer. Left uncoated, it will turn almost black.
Thanks. I don't want it black. I love the copper and have already picked a special drip tip for it....this is so much fun...I've got my fingers in the chocolate box.

Not to change the subject but I could use a little advice from my fellow REOnauts. With the impending FDA nonsense hanging over my head, I'd like to pick up a couple of rba's to eventually take over the chores that my 2 aging RM2's have performed so well over the years. Robert doesn't seem to carry the RM2 any more and I was hoping to find a reasonably-priced rba that will fit my SP Grands--set up for bottom-feeding of course. Is there such an animal? Any help would be appreciated.

Way cool. I have a woodvil lacewood and a woodvil yellow heart. 2 mini patinas

I'm getting a copper vein LP Grand and purple SL LP Grand. I got a stainless steel RM8 for the purple one, I can always use my praxis covers if I want to change colors. I have copper, brass, white, black, and stainless steel. I'm gonna need one more atty I think, but I don't know if I want to try something different. I'm putting the RM2 on the patina mini, (The other one is Kay's if she wants it). I have a black RM 8 coming for the yellow heart. Robs tooling the Praxis for a brass capped lacewood. It's really hard to unscrew the base on it cause it's so flat. Don't know if I'm gonna like it so well. I'll have a family, too.

Wow!!! We'll sorta have some twins.......the copper vein grands, and you'll have a purple grand, I've got a purple mini. But it needs a trip to the spa. Dang girl, you're definitely in the running for who got the most the quickest after trying them. I know of Kaz, and Littlebird, and there are probably some from back aways that I don't know about.

I gotta tell on ya......she bought a woodvil during the sale, but didn't do anything with it til April 24th, uhmmm........I'd say she's hooked on REOs!! And yeah what Rule said! You'll want to clear coat the copper vein right away! The door will be easy, but others will need to help you about doing the rest of it. There is a good thread in the archives...
ok, found this.......look at post 8 that has links to how Edz did his after learning a lot by doing. He found a better product.

Guys any of you have pics of 2015 Utile Woodvils? I once had a Utile mini that was literally golden and looked stunning, but I'm not quite getting that same vibe off the ones left at Reo's site.

I'd love to hear and see from some of you Utile people :)
Hope you get an answer, not many were bought this time around.

I would call or email him hun.......seems like he may just not have any at the moment that are milled down, or may just not have em on the website. He's got the LP ones on there, so I don't think he's quit carrying them. I bet he'd mill a couple down for ya if he doesn't have some already done, but just not loaded on the site yet

I did email him, Deb. He said he could build a couple attys for me. I kinda felt like I was bothering him though and just thought I'd test the waters for what other alternatives are available.....if ya know what I mean.:)

oh wow.......don't like the sound of that. I don't really care for the smaller atties, but I'm sure someone will be able to offer some suggestions.

Hey bush all the smaller Atties are pretty good. Even the other RM stuff may work for you.

You can also get good deals on the older bf stuff. I see hornets and Era and even sometimes early chalices pop up fairly cheap. Something like that should be totally bombproof for years.

I'm not a clone guy but there's also that option if you're on a budget. I've heard some of them are really good.

No, No, don't read too much into it, Deb. He was amiable and friendly and reminded me he could mill down my SP Grands if I wanted to go that route. I just felt like I was infringing on his semi-retirement space. It's probably me, not Robert.

Mountain Oak Vapor had the Chalice III's on sale for $19.99. I really like mine for my non-lp Reos. I'm not sure about shipping across the pond though.

They're $29.99 now, but still a hell of a deal. I actually just ordered 2 myself and was going to suggest it to you lol. Honestly for that price I doubt you'll find anything better. The Chalice 2 was always my favorite small leakproof atty. Hoping the 3 is just as good or better.

$29 for a Chalice.
You can thank me later.

The RM3 will fit your non-LP Grands Roger and vape very well, you can always drill out the air-hole to suit.
For now, it appears that Robert only has the dual-coil RM3's in stock. Would they vape the same as the single coil version if only used with one coil?

He sure do. Give him a call and ask him when he can mill one up for ya if you see it as out of stock on the site.

Another option and a real beauty:

Mountain Oak Vapor has real-deal Mark Bugs Chalice III's on closeout for only $29.99! Mine just showed up today - I haven't had a chance to build on it yet. Beautifully machined though. Fits a SP easily with a bit of room to spare. (I checked it already.)

I thought the dual coil version had two air holes drilled in the cap - which may not be the best thing if you want to do a single coil build.

I bookmarked the page and will take a look to see what I find on you tube. I'm still having trouble with the wicks burning up real quick on this premium ejuice. That didn't happen with my DIY liquids. I'm teaching Gabriel how to mix this pm. I can't afford him.
