The Reomizer 8 is the derringer clone right? I've been using RM2s but want something with a larger deck so I'm not squonking quite so often. The tight draw of the stock RM2 is perfect for me. Anyone know if the RM8 can be a decent MTL atty?

Probably a good time to bring this forward from the archives:

As you can see it is a Derringer clone. I don't own an RM8 so I have no comment on it myself. If you want to research what was said about which: ~>~>~> Reo compatible RBAs

I finally got Seapeach to try her woodvil she bought, and now I think she's on a mission to buy y'all out of every mod you have! hehehe Appreciate you letting us know about stuff going up on the site. Unless someone checks and then posts about it, we won't know otherwise. Has he thought about doing another p67 run?? Too soon?? hehehe some way some how there is a hammertone with HT sl door with my name on it. We appreciate you hun!! Give Rob our love

Didn't know that but kewl. Is he doing anything different to this run?

I honestly don't know if you could shut it down that much without it being too hot. It might do ok with one coil, but I don't like one coil or tight draw, so couldn't tell ya if it was good even if I tried it that way lol Maybe someone could weigh in, but you might like an rm3 or rm4 better, dunno

Doing a separate post for this. Just got off the phone with Kay finally!!! Been trying to get hold of her for days. Poor things been through the ringer. She sounded great!! She wasn't in pain when we talked, she'd just gotten up from a deep sleep for about 4 hrs or so. She's been in pain, but wasn't when we talked. She's real fuzzy about what all has happened and when it happened.....but she was able to tell me that they gave her a tour of the rehab that is in the hospital where her surgery was done......and even showed her the room that would be hers...... took her back to her hospital room, and a few hours later came in and said they were releasing her to go home. She told em no, I'm supposed to go to the rehab...... they said newp, you're doing well enough to go home.

She went home......Chey had to go to work. Kay futzed around trying to get things arranged so she could move around, have everything she needed with her, etc......so then her leg and foot swelled up really bad......and Chey had to take her back to her doctor.......(who she now likes a lot by the way, this is the one she was gonna fire after her surgery was done with). He sent her to make sure she had no blood clots, she doesn't......and that was the second time she'd been checked within a few days, so that's great! Her recliner is set to when she lays it all the way back, her leg is elevated above her heart, so that's great! She's getting the in home therapy set up.....great again! And while she's not happy with the hospital just kickin her out.......she's glad to be home and a lot more comfortable there. So we'll see how the next few days go. She's also had so many friends and family there checking on her constantly so she feels so incredibly blessed to know she's completely surrounded by people who love her so much!!

Deb did Kay say much about her PT situation? It seems really soon after the surgery to have had no in-patient PT. There's only so much one can (or will...) do in a home environment. (Is there such a thing as a physical therapist who makes house calls?) Or is she expected to come back to the place for out patient PT sessions?

she didn't say really.........she did say that she told her doctor what they'd done......he questioned her for more details about it......and she said that he did not look happy. She thinks he's gonna be havin words with em about it. I hope he does.

they do have PT's who come to the home. One of our porchers recently had one for awhile for his wife, and the guy helped her a lot. We'll see how it goes, and if the doc does anything to get her back in there. They can do a lot of range of motion things for her, as well as resistance, but not so much with the walking and other things.

The RS has to see the dentist to get his new bridge set. He's really takin' this missing tooth thing hard and still threatenin' to don overalls and pick up a banjo.

You know the RS never smoked and doesn't vape, but since I've put down my MPV 3.0, being the rocket scientist that he is, he's been dying to take it apart and dissect it. Already, he's been all over the internet looking at DNA 40s. He has a milling machine and wants to start cuttin' on my REOs!

Nooooooooooo tell him he'll get whacked with my fryin pan if he does!!! He can take the mvp 3.0 apart all he wants! lol

Whacked with a frying pan? All she has to do is wind up and pitch that Reo at him. (Assuming it's a metal one.) It sure won't hurt the Reo.

And... if ya don't have a metal Reo yet then perhaps now is the time...

It's a woodvil and I'm not tossing it!. It's the two metal patina minis he wants to attack. He feels like I have two so he can experiment with one of them. They are too small for a DNA 40, but he knows I have two grands on the way. NOOOOO!!!!

Well, it has been done buy you gotta have some serious skills:

The DNA20 inside the Reo Grand

Reo VV - A major modification

DNA 30 powered REO

In a mini? Never. In a brand new grand? No and hell no. The typical candidates are a dead VV Grand because they have the most room or a beater Grand that you don't care (too much) what really happens to it anyway.
