Bad!!
Welcome aboard!!

IMHO, from a historical and durability perspective, I now have the top three mods made within the last six years which should last me a lifetime of service.

2 - Silver Bullets
2 - Provari 2.5
1 - Reo Grand

I am vapocalypse ready. :sneaky:

I do have some experience with a bottom feeder mod. 2 - 3 years ago I used a VMod XL from Vapage. It was a very inexpensive bottom feeder I purchased when it was 50% off the usual retail price. You can only use proprietary 510 drip atomizers or cartomizers with this device. Because of its design, you couldn't put a rebuildable dripper on it. I miss that pyrex drip tip, it was one of my favorites. :(

No bottom feeding atty yet. No, I haven't tried the REO out yet.

I have looked at the offerings at Reomods.com, but I can't afford nearly $50 for an atomizer. The last couple of years have been trying and challenging for me financially.

Hey 'Bad!

Key question about the atty thing: What's your preference: Flavor output or high volume vapor output?

Thanks for the welcome, folks. :)

Currently vape a 0.6 ohm dual coil (simple coils) Velocity clone RDA on a mech, or at 30 watts on my RX200. I like a direct lung draw with a wide bore drip tip. Probably doesn't matter to me if I use a single or dual coil on a Reo.

I'm not able to post a pic currently, but it was purchased by the original owner in December of 2014. It is a low profile model, and has an updated 510 connector.
Bad, do you have any cartos still??

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, cuz I'm still learning, but can't cartos be used??

Sure can. But the deeper catch cup on the standard profile Reos works better - the catch cup has a purpose with cartos or something like a 306 atty.

Kewl. :thumb:
I was just thinking that Bad could at least play with his new toy until the attys arrive.

Depends on the carto. Punched cartos, no. BF cartos (which were common about three years ago) can be used, but a Bottom Feed RBA is just a better vape.
 I didn't see this earlier.
Oh, I haven't tried a carto with it, but I would imagine a BF RBA would be much better, I really like the RM2 that was recommended to me.
I was only thinking for him to play around with until his new attys get there. :)
I have in a pinch put scotch tape around a punched, and haven't died or anything.
I used to take a really hokie set up outside when I was by the pool so in case it went in...it was something I wouldn't cry over. I would fill a carto and use an old Vea (Johnson Creek) battery. Lol's.
Yes, I'm goofy...you all may as well know it now. :D

Lol - but on a standard profile Reo you wouldn't need to tape over the holes even. Just let it dribble out the holes and head down into the catch cup. Not a recommended setup - but it would work.

welcome baditude...from another former vmodder:)
if you happen to still have the vapage carto's or universal atty, they work in a REO just fine...then you could at least play with it :)

Maybe.

I seem to recall those :censored: "silo" - or whatever they called them - designed things didn't play nicely with normal 510's. Vapage said they were the best thing since sliced cheese - but the center post was extended and consequently they couldn't catch the threads on a lot of 510's I tried to put them on. 'Bad is probably already aware of any issues though since he owned one.

Vmod - one of my few regrettable purchase decisions. Final straw was when they shorted an order (and their :censored: attys weren't cheap) and despite a lot emails on my end they never shipped the missing attys. "Attys are in the mail..." Yeah - no. :glare:
