Been entrenched in work and have missed checking in for a week or 2! Just read thru the thread and yep, Reoville is alive and well!

And Deb! Am so happy you like the SS! I haven't done much fiddling around lately but I sure do like it! When things slow down a bit, I'm gonna play some more. I'm right around .9 right now. Heck, I might even go over to the dark side and try duals with the SS (but I won't go there alone ).

So, how do you know when it's time to rebuild an RBA? With cartos, they'd last me 1 to 1 1/2 weeks and either the draw would get too tight or the flavor would be off.

No need to rebuild unless you dryburn and rewick and it still tastes nasty or you pop a coil I usually dryburn and rewick about every 4 days, whenever it doesn't taste as good. But the coils themselves will usually last months. Good on ya for getting into building! I use KGD (koh gen do) cotton for wick, and have just started using SS 316L wire for coils thanks to Robinowitz sending me some. I like it a lot more than kanthal. I used to build duals at 1.3, but with the SS I accidentally made duals at .6 and love them! Not hot like kanthal and I'm tasting flavors I never tasted in my juice! Welcome back!!!

Actually, I was being a Smart . I spoke with Rob on the phone three weeks ago, and he let me know that this sale was coming (if he could keep the mill running).
I think Rob once said something about having nearly a thousand mods in stock. That's a lot of inventory just sitting there for a small business. Add to that there were Woodvils available a year after his run of four hundred, and throw a recall (on the new connector or the new switch, can't remember which) and that is a lot of materials and effort that are just sitting around. Plus repairs, yea, it's safe to say y'all have a lot on your plate.
Just keep up the good work, and we will try again on the next run

Ultem is a high heat plastic.the good thing is that you can give it a bath ,where as the wood,you wouldn't want to wash it..yes just for p67's...rob is planning to do a video on it at some point soon..

I'm curious why he decided on ultem, instead of PEEK. PEEK is somewhat stronger than ultem, as well as having even higher heat tolerance.

lmao! I am pretty sure the p67s do get extra porky dust. Sumpthin seems to make em hit harder. At least that's what I was told by many. I did get to try one for a week. Didn't really notice that, but after using my easy squeeze bottles, all I could focus on was how it seemed I needed some kinda press or other big machine to squeeze the regular bottle now!!

Your precious should be mailed on Monday.

Good Morning Reonauts. Sat up late w/ Mamaw, Daughter and DBF playing "Phase 10" (a card game). Now I am just waiting on the coffee pot. Should get my first tomato out of the garden this morning. Other than that, looks like a lazy Sunday. Or at least until Mamaw gets up and starts finding stuff for me to do.

Today shall be a day of rest. Worked way too much for my liking last week. One day weekend for me. Need to take my youngest out driving in the cemetery this morning (learner's permit) then drop her off at work and kick the feet up. Not a big one for television but Game of Thrones season finale is on tonight as well as the Ray Donovan season premier...some of my favorites.

Q: Was this ever covered in the former P67 thread: Why no SL bodies on a P67? Or is there stuffs about the body design that mean it's just not practical to do?

I believe it had something to do with the body being thicker than a standard grand and more time consuming and wear and tear on the machinery... Rob has said at some point he will make them though.
