I'll be on it, quick.
Just a reminder that Rob said the Ultem will not hold up to subΩ setups...
I'm the same way about my REOs. In addition to my Woodvils, I have 4 Grands and 2 P67s. I've yet to bathe any of them. I've never had reason to. If I have a leaking juice bottle or tube, I look for the source right away and clean it up. I actually haven't had a leak of any kind since converting the Grands to the new 510s. I used to get a drip every once in a while in my black ano, at the tube connector, prior to having it converted. I clean the contacts every once in a while, put Deoxit on them, and that's about it. I rarely even pull the tube off.
The only leaks I've had were from the bottle cap of the FIB that I use now. Sometimes I don't tighten them enough...
So you don't buy much from the classifieds I take it then...
I have bought from the classies, but not any Reo's though...
Lost/misplaced the white mouthpiece that goes on my Origen Little 16. REO Grand is feeling neglected. Anyone know where I can get the mouthpiece or one that fits?
Where you located? I have a couple I will never use.
So, I'm the only one that once a month I take the delrin off and put the REOs in a hot bath? I can't stand the thought of having eliquid under that delrin just sitting there getting nasty. If you have bought a use REO - you never know if someone else ever cleaned it out or not...and trust me - until you see one with 2 years worth of gross...eewww can't talk about it.

I rinse them a few time a week but I do dry them/leave the over night on a towel to air dry. Glad I haven't bought a P67 yet then.
Never bought a Reo off the classies, but have bought a few atty's. They get torn down and bathed on receipt...

If you look back at any of the video's or comments Rob made about bathing the Reo, it was with the delrin insert in place. He has said on multiple occasions that the less you have to take the insert out, the less chance of stripping out the screw hole... This has been remedied on the P67 as the back is thicker and allowed for more threads now, but the grand has very few...

There are only 2 reasons for having liquid seep into the delrin insert. Either you have massively over squonked or the feed pin nipple is loose. All it would take is 1 leak and the problem would be fixed and not worried about again... If I over squonk, the device is immediately wiped clean... I just recently had the feed pin nipple loosen on one of mine and just took the bottle off and tightened the nipple in place. This of course couldn't have been done with the old 510, but very easy with the new one.

Morning Reoville! So I am almost all stocked up on what I need for my REOs! Well except for the decision to maybe trade my Grand for a mini 2.1! All this talk of getting used REOs that need a bath have me thinking!
Any how what I really need to decide is how many RM2s are enough to have on hand? I have four REOs and only three RM2s! But I don't use all four of the REOs at one time!
Would it be wise to get a few more?

Hi ya Chili
I'm curious about that too.
I got one with my mod, two in transit as described above...I have plenty of other top devices that aren't BF, but have wondered (myself) if 3 will be enough.

Who ever said that patience is a virtue wasn't waiting on a REO to be delivered!
Well, these are attys, door magnets, and a few more springs.
I'm still debating the 2nd mod. I'm sure I'll prob grab one though.

I have another order coming FedEx from Canada, it's path is just about as comical.
ETA: It's path here is fine, it's just the issues that have been documented en route that are just annoying.

Lori! If you have three for one REO and I have three for four REOs I am in trouble! I guess I do need more!
As for delayed delivery I feel your pain! I got some MHM tips from the classies and they are missing in action! Last know location was on July 1st! They went to the wrong zip code and are now lost

Not necessarily, it depends on how many flavors/devices you have going at once.
I just don't know the anticipated longevity of the RM2.

I normally have just two devices going. One will prob just be a regulated, no BF needed, and then the Reo.

Does anyone know the life span of a RM2? Inquiring minds want to know!

I would think someone will be by that knows.

Honestly @57chilicat - it's going to be no different than any other atty.
It's going to depend on how it's used, or abused.
There will be some of them, I would think that just don't last as long as others.
So prob hard to really say regarding longevity, with any true certainty.

If it's one you really like and plan to use heavily, I think having 4 to 6 on hand would be my minimum.
Maybe the others will have input as well.

If something stops all of this doomsday stuff, well, prob won't need that many.
But, if this ends up being the true end of new purchases...

I looked around and probably found the same results as you did. I can't find a single place world wide that is selling the mouthpiece. If there is a clone out there, or anyone having found a "this also fits" no one is identifying or reporting it that I saw.
Thanks for looking. It's crazy I tell ya!

@muzichead, I'm in the NE corner of Illinois. Have you found a tip you like better on the Origen Little?

I'm south of you below Joliet. I haven't used the white drip tips since about a week after I received the atty's. Your's if you want them. I am using a Cherry Vapes friction fit tip that I slightly modified the OD of the friction fit part to fit all the way into the atty. Here's the link... Clinton County, IL here. :)
