Sorry it's not working for ya littlebird. It looks like everything is where it should be. When the black button pushes on the bar, does the bar touch the plate? Can you push the plate out of place with your finger? If so, your plate is too loose, if not you might try backing the thread on the 510 out with the supplied Allen key. It is reverse threaded so lefty not loosey righty not tighty. Most of the time when mine aren't working, it's because the adjustable 510 is too low. You can get intermittent firing on a just barely connection and over time, the grub seems to lower itself if the atty isn't tightened down properly. hope this helps and thanks for the pics!

How'd I miss that?! Yup, it's gotta go in to Rob unless you have him send you the part and install it. Sorry, but it's a quick turnaround.

The missing battery slide lock thingy is another excuse to send it to the spa. I'm wondering if I could wrap my pea brain around this and find the problem if I saw a video on how it works. As several folks said, there just aren't that many fail points! OTH, I've never been described as mechanically minded...

The screw in the center of the 510 is what everyone is calling a grub screw... The actual name for said screw is "socket head set screw", but most find it easier to call it a grub screw. Thats what the British have been calling it for years, IMO because its easier to say that than what it actually is...

Morning everyone Im sitting on eggshells just put an offer in on a place last night beautiful property and house has potential is a nice way to put it 2.3 acres and so private. Im excited yet terrified too its going to be a lot of work and money

In UK telecoms many moons ago when volume controls/chan select/potentiometer shafts had knobs attached on the shaft flat, those knobs had "set screws" and they had a pointed end and were hardened to bite into the shaft so the knob got "set" and didn't come loose.
