Lol - oK I'm not sure what all that means about Windoze mail since all that's on the Reos web site is the e-mail address, which has always been straightforward enough to use on my computer. Rob's phone number is also right there on the Contact Us web page on the site. So if you want to call before doing anything that's no problem.

Just curious - what build did in the button? The new buttons are high heat tolerant though so it should not happen again.

Personally I've had any replacement work done by Rob so I can't help out with whether it's the same procedure putting a gold plated contact in a Reo that has an original 510 in place.

Sorry for my late reply I was out of 'puter range for two weeks.

It was a low build 3 wraps of 24g which came out 1.75 and I should have done 4 wraps as I thought that was a little low. WOn't do that again. Thanks for your help

@Robinowitz did your temco SS 316L just say 316 on it? I did order 316L as did another person, but it just said 316.

Mornin hun! That's wonderful!! I'm getting two wonderful things from UPS today, but not vape mail. I spent my nic money on paper crafting machines lol
It just said Temco @Debadoo Sorry I didn't see this earlier. Welcome back Debadoo! We missed you!

I have wondered about that; but not concerned enough, I guess, to inquire about it. the 316L I got from Temco also was labeled just 316.The difference chemically between 316 and 316L is mainly carbon content. 316L contains 1/2 the carbon content of 316, which is very low to begin with. 316 contains .08% carbon. 316L contains .04% carbon. Electrically, the difference between the resistance of 316 and 316L will only be about 3%.
Thanks Rule. I was wondering about that but didn't take the time to do the research. At 3%, that doesn't seem like that's a big difference resistance wise?? My calculator says no, but then again I'm not a super duper numbers person either. Hahah

Sloth was shipped some 316L, without the "L". He e-mailed Temco. They said it was just a label misprint issue.
What he recieved was in fact 316L.

Good Morning Reonauts from Lamar, SC. Waiting to be unloaded. Used to be I didn't think the word "retirement" was in my vocabulary. Now I find myself thinking about how many years I have left to go.

    Damn, I am getting old.

Have a Safe and Blessed Day :)

I'm with you @PapawBrett. While I figure I have another 15 years to go with a real job. I don't think I would ever be able to not work, at least by choice. My hope in 15 years is to stop working 60-80 hours per week at a high stress job (been doing this job for 20 years so far) and do something with no stress.

While I do cuss at the modern world at times I do love working from home. Technology allows me to be home, in shorts everyday, vaping away while I work. Rocking the RM2 on the Grand today with a light raspberry vape. Life could be worse!

I want a work from home gig.

    Morning all. :)

It is nice. I remember the days of wearing a suit and tie into the office 5 days per week. Working from home is great...would be better with more normal hours. I'm working all times of day and night. Had new neighbors move in last year and they asked if I worked. I told them I was a bookie.

Years ago, long before retiring, I was worried about what I would do with all that spare time.
Now, after being retired for a few years, I wonder sometimes how I ever had time to work.
I can't complain, I just work PT by choice.
I wonder how I got anything done when I worked FT.
