Most everything you have mentioned is doable, but I would caution you on the new 510 and milling the catch cup. You need and arbor press to seat the 510 properly and though a lot of people have milled the catch cup, getting it to the right height and level has been challenging to most. Nothing I hate more than an atty that doesn't sit flush on my Reo!!!Greetings Reonauts!
I want to revive my poor neglected REO Grand. It's been sitting for a while since i changed my vaping habits.
I want to treat it a new switch, negative contact, stainless steel 510 pin... the works.
I can order these parts from Rob and do these fixes myself, np.
But ideally i would also want the catchcup milled, but sending it in to Rob is kind of prohibitively expensive from Denmark. Any idea how i can get this done?
Alternatively can you recommend me an atty that fits the Reo (unmilled) and can be used for a restrictive lung hit?
Hope i'm not out of line with these questions in this thread... since it's the lounge![]()
You live in the land of the machinist in Denmark and shouldn't be too hard to find shop with the right tools and knowledge needed to do it though. All you would need to know is how much of the catch cup to mill off and you can get that info from Rob when you are ordering parts...
If you can't find anyone to do it locally, sending it in to the spa would be the best bet. I know it might not be cost effective, but at least you would have peace of mind that it be done properly... Best of luck to you in your decision.
