Built a coal in too much of a hurry, didn't clip the ends as flush as I should have. Still not used to the small chamber...from now on I'll check ohms with the cap on, which we all know is good advice anyway. But when you've never had this happen in 2.5 years, you get cocky

Dat true. I have not totally dropped a spring yet but then my tiny O is still in the mail. Good cautionary note to be careful.

Now my 3 year old LP Grand's spring is sagging. The top two coil loops are pancaked but it still has enough spring to vape. It has a gentle plunger action that I like but maybe I should replace it. Why would a spring partially collapse? I have been creeping down lower in ohms with SS wire; in the .3 zone on most atty's.

I'm sure that there must be a point where a spring is just on the verge of collapsing. Not low enough resistance to completely collapse. But just low enough to cause it to sag somewhat. Maybe that's the case here.

Snow tires will make that Subaru a tank in the snow! I run them on my wife's Focus year round and they are wearing as well as the old all season tires and still get 32mpg on our roads. Better in summer rain too.

I got my back to the wood stove this morning, its cold, rain/snow mix and I don't feel like hunting, maybe this afternoon. It is Cyber Monday so maybe I'll look around.

I did the same with a Chalice III, I was happy the spring did its job.

Thanks Tim for getting me back in the REO game. I've sold off almost all of my mods in preparation for my vaping end game but wanted to be sure I put a REO back in my now minimized rotation to see me through to the end. Love this thing!

Indeed. The Stumpy was also from Brother Sloth. I used to have a pile of Stumpys and can't fathom why I got rid of them now. Just glad to have one again.
