Sarah left us several months ago. I think it was October. She stopped eating & could barely get up. The last time I saw her is the only time she didn't meet me at the door. She stayed laying down, but rooled her eyes over at me & flipped her tail a little. Brutus & I laid on the floor with her for awhile. They took her to the vet the next day & that was that. Nan did get another pup in December, but not another Golden. The new girl runs all over Brutus!

as I was typing that, I was wondering if you'd said that she'd passed

But I didn't wanna say that in case she hadn't. I just couldn't remember for sure.
Unfortunately, 112 million trees have died over the last 5 years (drought leading to beatles). Lots of harvesting this summer and hopefully re-planting.
that's horrible! Glad y'all have had more rain though, and have a good snow cap. Glad to see ya anytime you can stop in!

I just saw this on another thread and thought I'd bring it over. I hope it's still good. Not positive it wasn't just a one-day (Valentine's) sale. Worth checking out. Great price.
that's a great price, but do you know anything about them? That price just makes me leary.
Today would mark 6yrs since my last analog!!

Its hard to believe sometimes how time seems to just fly by. It seems like it was only yesterday.
wahooooooooo that's wonderful!!!
It's just me, but I don't like what has been done with the GSD breed over the last few years. Years ago, the GSD stood with a level back. Today, they walk on their hocks almost, with the back sloped to the rear. It can be difficult today to find a GSD, even from a reputable breeder, who will not suffer eventual hip problems.
I'm with you, and as Clnire said, not just the GSD.

I didn't know that there was any other place than a shelter or rescue to get a dog at . Have had a bunch of mutts (kinda like me). But the other day it occurred to us that at this moment we have 3 pure breds at the moment. That's a first. We typically adopt seniors and whatever package they come in (as long as they get also get along with the rest of the pack). Too bad our Xmas pic was "too large to upload" but here's the pooch gang: Cooper (poodle), Danny (mini Aussie, and Princess (lab). We are heading out for a day trip with the hairy ones. Good day all!
So cute!! Loved all the pet pics that everyone put up! The pup someone posted with the tie was adorable!
We have 5 currently. But this is the most recent, from a couple years ago. This is Zoee. A client of Mrs Rule's no longer wanted her, so Mrs Rule got her for her daughter. Unfortunately, the daughter's boy friend didn't like Zoee, so she was kept locked up in a bathroom most of the time. Finally, we took her back. Here she is, on the way home to our house.

She looks so happy to be coming home!!! So cute!!
For one thing, most shelters require outgoing adoptees to be spayed or neutered, at which point, it doesn't matter if the animal is purebred or not. Plus, unless the animal comes with necessary pedigree documentation, it doesn't mean much.
not to mention that with dogs at least, pure breeds have more health issues. Dunno if it's like that with cats or not. But I can see the shelter charging more if folks will pay it so they can offset other costs for the rest of the critters. You'd pay a lot more to buy a purebred from a breeder. I wouldn't, I'm a mutt person, but many will. Our lil rescue mutt is snuggled up beside me. he's so used to being right beside me all the time now, that if I'm in another room for more than a few minutes, he comes huntin me.
I don't feel bad about not getting one right this minute as it seems they are going to be in stock, so I'll just save up, or whatever it takes, but it is on the agenda to have one.

JUP! so glad they're going to be stocked regularly soon.
Our current rescue, Beau. The last dogs to be adopted statistically are BBD's (big black dogs) so we go for them.
I did not know that!
I'm curious about it. After over 2 years of vaping I just figured out I have a gastric sensitivity to pg. I figured it out when I mixed a batch of base at 30pg 70 vg. I'd always vaped 50/50. My symptoms disappeared right away. [emoji43] I had thought the symptoms were because of several abdominal surgeries I'd had.

wow, kewl you figgered it out. Hope you can deal ok with the higher vg.
I love a good jolt when I hit it. It was the same back when I used to smoke. The strongest, hardest hitting smokes for me, so it's carried over into my vaping.
same here! Getting a good enough throat hit (chest hit) was the thing I wanted most when I started vaping! and still is.
I believe I purchased my cyclone from MVS. I really enjoyed it. The stainless was waay better than the gold one. The gold cap was a bit loose and leaky.
welcome Toots!
It is beginning to sound like I'm the only one using 70% PG. I'll sacrifice clouds for taste & throat hit.
Newp........I mix 75 PG. Might try 80 pg next time I mix.
Good Morning Reonauts. Looks like our old friend JetKnight is moving away from Reoville.
stopping vaping, or just not gonna use Reos anymore?
My kitty is cuter than yours
hehehe Skunks are usually really great pets from what I hear.
DIYers: if you haven't tried the newish flavoring company Wonder Flavours, i think the time has come...

Oh, and the O16 has now ruint me! Last Sunday I was gonna take the Grand out with me when I went to church instead of the woodvil that the O16 was on. Popped the battery into the grand with my derringer on it. Took a hit.......it was anemic! I couldn't believe it! Now I definitely gotta get a couple more O16's.

Thanks Kenna! At least it'll be cheaper to get a couple more of those than even one more Rm8.
