Everyone mentions terminator pricing ( a good example for a nicely machined clone), the thing that actually makes the terminator worth it though...parts availability. Not many clones have that, I'd wait and see on this for if it works and if there are parts available.

Getting spare parts for most of the popular originals can be like finding hen's teeth also... ;) Mostly months of waiting for small batches to arrive, and a mad F5 session when they do...

Personally, I wonder if SvoeMesto (sp) is cloning their own product? They win both ways, with the original (genuine) Kayfun and their own knockoff.

highly unlikely, looking at the close up pics there is no way SM would release such poorly finished parts and pressfit tubes, if they were making it themselves, im sure they would expect the same quality. now i wouldnt put it past a couple rogue employees doing it.

Maybe this is the SvoeMesto Kayfun that's being made in Russia, since the original is being made in Germany?

Idoubt it, just becuase its called "the russian" there is no proof its made anywhere near there.

until i get my kayfun i dont own anything from them but i have seen and held enough of their gear and the machining and fit is superb.

ok I doubt this is made in russia. I think it's made in China. Thats just a guess but c'mon. "The Russian"

I doubt fit and finish is going to be as nice as the kayfuns. if it's on par with the quality of the terminator i believe this is going to be a win. if it's a complete clone that would be awesome so I can buy spare parts for my kayfun.

I refuse to pay intl shipping to insulators LOL

who knows maybe these are the imperfection models, instead of throw them out they're selling it under a different. I hope this is the case and this will be in the 60's price range!

$80 is something to think about. $100 would be just $40 cheaper than original and in that case I would definetly go for Kayfun.

Where are you finding the real ones for 140? I will pick up 2 more in a heart beat evn if the clone sells for 80. Who's making these anyways and are they china?

:pop: need a beater that works just as well as the original.

All the kayfuns I've seen are 175. Where did you see them for 140?

Guys, I already replied to that on 2nd page... if I remember correctly.

I am in Serbia, Europe but at the same time Serbia is not member of European Union. That means that we do not pay VAT which is 19%. So when I go to Intaste.de and look at the pagd without log-in I see regular prices. When I log-in system recognises my acc settings (location) and than I see prices without VAT. So instead "regular" price (quotation mark because both prices are regular but depending on your location) which is 129.95 EUR ($170) my price is 109.20 EUR ($142.35).

Is it just me, or does it look like there isn't a single thread anywhere on "the russian"? If that's the case it's going to suck hardcore...

They are only in the hands of reviewers, who are not allowed to post much about the unit until the reviews are completed. Todd (Todd's Ecig Reviews) Has been waiting on a couple of improved parts to come in before he posts his review. Not sure about PBusardo...
