Yep, minis are still available in the following colors (body/door):

purple/purple
black/black
green/black

Good idea bringing that up, tobarger. Only a month ago, I would have never thought I'd see the day where REOs would be available for sale longer than 12 hours. Rob keeps getting better at making these available. There's gonna be a lot of happy campers out there.
:)

Just checked and there are still three colors available.

As a newbie, I have to say that reading about all of the different types, brands, atomizers, cartridges, cartomizers, tips, etc, etc, is very overwhelming! Many of us have only just learned about the whole concept of e-cigarettes recently so trying to pick a model or type, is frustrating in and of itself, not to mention trying to figure out where to get it from. Some of us are geographically challenged and are on a tight budget.

I do realize that it's that it's best to be well informed but when you just want to 'start' already, sifting through hundreds of posts trying to figure out the best route is exhausting!

It would be really helpful for newbies if there was a post about starter kits, the best place to order based on your geographical location (ie., Canada vs. US).

Again, as a newbie, the one thing that I was looking for initially was ease of transition -- I wanted something that was as simple and quick to start as opening up a pack of cigarettes, taking one out and lighting it. I found it with my automatic that came with pre-filled cartridges. Now that I have transitioned, I am more interested in quality, savings, and variety of flavours which has led me in the direction of exploring ejuices, and various other models of ecigs.

Hi Cactus. If you're interested in quality and savings, I highly recommend getting a quality bottom-feeder mod such as a REO. Although the up-front cost is more than most e-cig kits out there, you save money over the long run because of reasons I mentioned earlier in this thread (http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...cing-box-way-quit-analogs-14.html#post2496873).

Bottom feeders are also easier to use because all you have to do is fill up the bottle with juice and put a freshly charged battery in it once per day and then you're good to go all day long (unless you're one of the few people who vape more than 6 mils a day). There are no messy carts or cartos to deal with. And no juice is wasted or spilt. Cleanest and easiest solution around. And also less expensive, over the long run, than e-cigs that use carts or cartos.
