Hi folks!
New around here, but found this forum to have the most discussion regarding the Sophia going on.
Anyway, I bit the bullet and got mine yesterday after being pretty much exclusively a carto tank user for the past year or so, and while the mechanics of the device are wonderful I was wondering if anyone is having any problems with flavour?
When I got the Sophia, I was a little over-excited and ended up burning the pre-installed coil, so swapped that out for one of the ready-made "medium" resistance coils w/ ceramic. No problems there... all connected, trimmed, primed and slapped in just fine. However, using the slim tank for the atty itself or my AGR+ tank, I get plenty of vapour but inconsistent throat hit and next to no flavour. I've been through three tanks with a different flavour each time, and just not getting what I need from it. I terms of taste, it's more in line with a crappy CE clearo or Protank (I couldn't get on with the Protank's airy draw and heavily muted flavour).
I love the control, flooding is non-existent. It's a wonderful piece of work, but I just can't taste my juice! Obviously I could start rebuilding coils and using cotton wicks etc, but one would assume that the pre-made coils for the device would give an inkling of flavour themselves!
Quite frustrated... just need to know if anyone else found this issue and was able to sort it out, or whether I'm best just selling the Sophia on and going back to punching holes in unpredictable, flood-prone but tasty cartos.
