I have a guy at work who, while puffing away on his analog, keeps telling me that they'll find out in 40 years that the e cigs are worse for you than Marlboros...

my mother, constantly, your still smoking those things i thought you were going to quit smoking. Mom atleast im not killing myself anymore, i don't care your still smoking.... i tried explaining to her that i wasnt going to try to quit vaping just lower my nic down and continue ... lol wont do that again.
anyone else have family members like this?
ps. i love my mother and this is one of the very few things we dont see eye to eye on lol.

It's a microcosm of our respective environments, which is in fact scary. But then again, we, as vapers, are also a microcosm of these same environments--that's encouraging.
My parents still insist that it's the nicotine that causes cancer. My dad is 76 and has COPD and Parkinson's - yesterday I told him (for the umpteeth time) that it doesn't and I added this time that he should talk to his doctor about starting vaping himself. I doubt that he should actually start using nicotine, but I'm hoping that if he does ask his doctor he'll at least get the facts about nicotine not being harmful for me. Both my parents trust their doctor and are always on my case about anything even slightly that goes wrong 'Well, did you go to the doctor?', "Why haven't you gone to the doctor?" I am currently suffering through a case of shingles and haven't seen, nor intend to see, the doctor yet, so they actually asked the doctor lots of questions in their last visit hoping, I think, to get some information from him to pass on to me to convince me to go see the doctor! I'm hoping this little bit of reverse psychology telling him to ask his doctor about vaping himself will get him enough info to leave me alone.
