Suppose we will see a SVD v2 when all is said and done Dan.

BrookJ, gonna be Christmas all over again :)
As much as that'd be great, I highly doubt it. innokin got their $54 bucks out of me, and that's that. They're pushing their newer mods now... The 134 mini and VTR comes to mind.... $149 and $99, respectively.... Least at my b&m they are. They don't give two ....s about improving a product that's nearly a year old. If I'm going to contemplate spending $150 on a mod, I'm going to go the extra mile and throw another $50 down towards a provari.

Problem with Provari: only VV... I prefer VW ... At least as an option.

EXACTLY!! That, coupled with the price is why I didn't buy one when I got my SVD. Back them I didn't fully understand the whole vv/vw thing like I do now, and once I figured it out , I never looked back.

I expect to see a complete re-design of a new tubular type mod. The MVP/TVR/134/Cool Fires are doing well for Innokin.

The VV V3 is also doing fantastic. I wonder if the v4 will increase mah options.

Innokin vv/vw mod where the switch can be upgraded to a magnetic switch (and still provides the joyous click sound :D)

How about skipping all the current controls and use voice commands. Prepare to vape, Ready VAPE!

It's just so damned frustrating. I did all this research, decided I wanted a tube style mod with removable batteries, variable wattage as well as volts, primarily 510 threaded but w/ the option to have an ego thread if needed. The SVD was all that and then some. I've said this several times, and I'll say it again. I LOVE MY SVD! My frustration is because it's starting to have issues with the button. If this thing fired flawlessly, them I'd be as happy a camper as there ever was. And when I say the provari was an option, it was t necessarily that specific mod, but something made in the good ole USA... Dependable, with an extendable warranty. Seeing as that's the one most talk about, I use that example. BUT, the lack of wattage was a deal breaker for me. I rebuild coils, and the damn things always seem to be all over the place in terms of ohms. I like to have options but don't always use them, if that makes sense. I use one type of clearomizer (protank 2). I have one type of eliquid I use consistently. I've found that for my taste, type of eliquid, that if I set my SVD to 5.5 watts, it's perfect. Every now and then I bump it up to 6 or 6.5.

We pretty much share out desires which led to the SVD. I hate to say it but the Sigeleli V3 & V5 do it closer to the mark.

I just pulled the trigger on an SVD. Ordered some high drain IMR 18650's, an i2 nitecore charger, and a Squape clone from FT. Hopefully the Squape isn't DOA (lots of bad feedback on it- AFTER I ordered it).

Let's face it any order is a "Trust in God" experience!

It's true.. But I learned a lesson here. Pay closer attention to reviews. I had been looking at the squape clone on FT for a few weeks, and I didn't think it was a new item, the few reviews it had were fine. Then it went out of stock, and the new batch was terrible quality. https://www.fasttech.com/products/1630000 I hadn't taken into consideration the shipping time, and alot of people that ordered, hadn't even got theirs yet :)

And now I just hope I got an SVD without the button problem. I didn't order the svd from FT, thought I might have more of a chance to get a better working/quality fire button :) Paid more for it, but hopefully it's worth it. as you said above though... who knows.

Emailed the shop where I bought my SVD today, just to say the switch was turning off intermittently sometimes. They emailed back and said a new one would be in the mail Monday :) I heard Stinky Canucks were a great outfit and gave them my business because of an e-cig article I read about there troubles with Health Canada. They will be getting my business so I added in 8 bottles of juice. Good reason to buy National instead of overseas, where you don't always save! In the meantime loving the MVP great bit of kit.

A lot of dealers seem to not argue. It appears it is quite widespread.
