The smaller Vmod will probably be updated next month.

I think Turbo Fog and First Strike would compare to Torque the closest.
Turbo Fog is my favorite of the three, but it's not going to be a love affair for everyone. ;)
It's kind of an unusual flavor, but it scratches the itch in a very satisfying way for me.

You use the silo cartomizer that came with the kit much like the atty --- you just don't have to feed it as often. Fill the carto first and let it set for a bit to fully saturate.

Many use carto's with bottom feeders. It sounded odd to me at first,too---but it works! If one is used to cartos it can be an easy switch to BF. Instead of the "top off", you just bottom feed. I find carto's a bit smoother and just simply convenient. I l particularly like them when I'm driving.

Oh wow that soon, cool. I'll add some Vapage juice to my next order, when I get new attys. I'm a noob one the atty thing so sticking with the standard ones for the Vmods for a bit until I know what I am doing. Thanks again!

I didn't realize the Silo that came with the Vmod was a carto! Are the AMGs they sell also cartos, or are those just attys? I got one in the kit, just haven't used it yet. Thought it was just the same as the one pre-installed at first.

The Silo is the cartomizer and the AMG is the attomizer. You can alos use a large variety of 510 cartomizers and atomizers, just nothing dual coil.

To clarify:

The dual coil cartos work on the XL, but are best at 5-6v.

The dual coil atomizers won't feed.

Hey Vmodians...

I got my all of my new goodies today :) but.... unfortunately, I can't get my new Vmod XL to fire for me :(

I am using AM 18650 3.7v 1600mah (charged, obviously)

I have tried using:
-two different batteries
-both the atomizer and the cartomizer provided with the kit, and also a Boge LR carto (that hits like a champ on my 510)
-flipping the battery both ways (positive side up, negative side up)

and I am getting nothing. Do any of you guys (or gals) have any tips before I send this back for a replacement?

It is a Mechanical mod so, not much can go wrong with it. You sure your battery is ok?! Also, is the atty/carto making contact with the centre post of the connector?!

Are you sure the switch is not in the lock position? The button rotates counter clockwise to the lock position...clockwise to the fire position .....It's an all mechanical mod so very little could be wrong as far as wires and stuff....

Ok dang it!! Cough up the info, what did you do? Was there a Dremel involved? Quick tell me now!!!! I don't want to vape another mod to be able to use up my DC's!!!

He's talking about dual coil cartos, not attys. The DCC work, the DCA don't.
